In today's morning satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda interprets the 8th verse of chapter 2 of Katopanishad. Spiritual wisdom can never be grasped unless it is taught by an enlightened being. It can be realized only beyond logical reason, imprinted into the bone marrow. Thus, the four tattwas can only be taught by one who is living them completely. Only one who has accomplished authenticity can become an acharya. The way to discern whether a devotee has achieved authenticity is to note whether he can listen. If he listens patiently without any tiredness to every speaker, he is integrated and has found his authenticity. Then he is able to effectively transmit the truth to others TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Today Nirahara Samyama starting, I welcome you all with my love and blessings! Today Nirahara Samyama 1st level 1st day 8th batch. We are inaugurating 8th batch Nirahara Samyama 1st level 1st day. I would like to remind you guys, Nirahara Samyama is a powerful Spiritual process to liberate you from all the food patterns. As on now, we have 52 applications, still application are coming for Nirahara Samyama. Today I will be initiating all of you guys, all the 52 applicants into the 1st Level Nirahara Samyama after the Satsang. Let's enter the Satsang. I will continue on Authenticity with Kathopanishad. Second Chapter 8th verse I will expand. Yesterday I started the 8th verse of the 2nd Chapter. Today I will expand on it. 2nd chapter 8th verse of Kathopanishad. Gurukul Kids, gurukul. Gurukul Kids chanting: na nareṇāvareṇa prokta eṣa suvijñeyo bahudhā cintyamānaḥ | ananyaprokte gatiratra nāsti aṇīyān hyatarkyamaṇupramāṇāt || Once More na nareṇāvareṇa prokta eṣa suvijñeyo bahudhā cintyamānaḥ | ananyaprokte gatiratra nāsti aṇīyān hyatarkyamaṇupramāṇāt || The translation: "When taught by an unenlightened being, this atman cannot be truly known even though frequently thought upon. There is no way to know it unless it is taught by an enlightened being an incarnation, for it is subtler than subtlest. It is beyond argument". Understand there are somethings which has to be taught by the bone marrow just by you BREATHING, just by you LIVING it. An unenlightened being will not be able to teach the subtlest truths unless your whole cognizance becomes conscious cognizance you will not be able to teach. You will be caught. Just yesterday I was telling in the Brahmanyam Bahuputrataam, about Ma Maneesha's patience -- Listening, Listening, Listening for days together unless you become authentic to listening you will feel agitated, bored, irritated will not listen. You will try to jump. I was observing her for last so many days, not even one conversation she is trying to wind up quickly. Many time, I will say hey come to the point straight. That may be useful for different purpose but when you do this kind of work especially helping an individual to find their root thought pattern of suffering you need a tremendous listening. For last 17 days she is listening. I am so happy she is not shown tiredness even for a moment because she is never had a tiredness. I tell you guys, if I see that in you guys I know you have become authentic. All of you have become authentic. Because when you develop listening, you will not be able to carry inauthenticity in you, lack of integrity in you because the lack of integrity you are carrying that will be heard by you again and again. Listen, only when you are not listening to you, you can carry lack of integrity in you. If you are listening to you, the cry will be too much you will see to it, you will complete it. Why do you stop listening to you, because too much crying inside, the suffering is too much. One of my Brahmachaari said, I have too much pain the day, from the day I have come to the ashram I have not done anything big, so I don't want to come to this BB program. All I thought is arreh, you only have to come and sit. This is the exact pattern with which you are suffering. Unless you dig out the pattern and complete it. You are not going to get out of this suffering. And I wanted to tell you, he is the most sincere worker. Poor fellow -- Yogananda. Such a sincere guy. How many of you in the ashram feel that Yogananda is a real sincere guy. Yogananda just raise your head and see, look around. In today's morning satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda expounds on Katopanishad Chapter 2, 6th verse: "the blind leading the blind". He observes that when disciples comment to each other about Him they are only discussing their projections of Him, not conscious perceptions. Disciples should learn to think and speak with authenticity and integrity: then they are using the language of God -- Devabhasha. Linguistically, this language is Sanskrit. As we transform our consciousness, our language also changes to reflect our inner awareness. This spiritual evolution creates the right understanding for renunciation -- sannyas, the monastic lifestyle. One conscious renunciate can neutralize the negative effects of millions of unconscious people. Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam breaks new ground by offering the Sanskrit attitude in English, propounding the Vedic tradition through global communication. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Brahmanyam Bahuputrataam! 5th day happening very successfully! Each one discovering their root thought pattern of suffering, and getting ready to go for the next level. Please understand, all the 1st batch participants also continuously do completion. Poornatva is required. Only then you will be ready to experience that Brahmanyam Bahuputrataam! Now only we are weeding out! If you just know all the weeds exists and if you don't remove it then you can't experience the Brahmanyam Bahuputrataam! I will enter into today's Satsang on Authenticity, Katopanishad! After seeing Ma Priyankananda in Kavi.... earlier I was contemplating on this concept, now I decided to execute. See when I went to study, before I went to study in that Polytechnic college, whatever you call it, Kuppammal did one big thing. She did Viraja Homa and gave me Sanyas before I went to the college itself. If you see the Sanyas Patra that she gave, if you see the date, it will be before I left the college. She did Viraja Homa, everything! Ma can you show that Sanyas Patra Ma, the Initiation document with Acharya Abhishekm and all that, she did everything! She called few Sanyasis and performed all the rituals, gave Sanyas. Then she said "Now go to the college and study for the sake of your future mission." No, that gave me such a big click! Even when I go for studying, I know I am a Sanyasi! In Buddhism they do this. They give Sanyas and then send the person to have the regular education. See it states 24-5-94, means which year? I was born 78. So when I was 14, am I right? 16? Ah Yes, yes, I think, or in the first year, she gave in first year. Umm, am I right? I actually left the house only when I was 17 and a half. I think 95 or 96 only I left the house. Ma, just raise,it's 94 only, let me verify. Yes, 94 only! So before itself she gave the Sanyas and all the rituals and everything; initiation, Acharya Abhishekam; and declaring that I am an Incarnation, and all that, before that itself she finished! It has done a very big impact on me. So now all the youngsters who are planning their life, future is Sanyas very clearly with Integrity and Authenticity and once the family also agrees, I am going to give them the Krama Brahmacharya Deeksha, UpaKrama Brahmacharya and then send them to college for education. The next word is a important word in my expense. I am going to give them education! Sangha will take the responsibility. In Buddhism they do it. It is very unfortunate that in Hinduism we did not encourage all that. First of all very unfortunate in Hinduism, we ourselves lost respect on this Sanyas, we ourselves lost respect, we ourselves gave up the idea that we can be authentic, we can be integrated, we can be responsible , we can be enriching ourselves and enriching others, we can be not giving up on us and not giving up on others. I can see now Chennai Alawar Peth center also. So next step I am opening. Just like Annalaya, Vidyalaya, all the youngsters, unmarried, interested and decided to take Sanyas as their future life, you can apply. We will scan and take the responsibility of initiating you and your education, both. Immediately we will have a question "If they study and then don't come back, become Sanyasi, go away?" What is wrong, what is there? After all I want to educate thousands of people, give this as a service. So give this as a service, over! And let us also trust the Integrity of the people. Not only we being integrated, when we are integrated, anybody comes in our presence becomes integrated. I tell you it helped me so much! So much! Now you know Abodha is jumping first. Me, me, me! Manisha, now whatever I spoke, give it as a clear introduction and put it in the website, Anywhere from around the world they can apply. We are a lifestyle! Anybody has no problem; we also don't have a problem. Anybody has a problem, then we tell them just give up that religion, that's all! So anybody can apply because I see so many youngsters are waiting. At least from my memory I can say some 50 youngsters are waiting. If we have a positive experience, it is a preview of better events yet to come. If we have a negative experience, that also shows the potential for worse events in the future. When we bring authenticity to our lives we open ourselves to the highest possibilities. Authenticity strengthens and rejuvenates us, blessing us with abundant energy and tirelessness. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- I will expand on the second principle, how second principle, Authenticity, transforms the reality of your life. First line, first tattva, you need to know is whatever you experience as reality is only possibility. Please listen, if you are experiencing your reality as rich, everything good, that is also only a possibility for great which is supposed to come. If you are experiencing your reality as bad, poor, suffering, suffocation - that is also is a possibility for the worst which is going to come. Listen whatever you experience as reality is only possibility. If you are experiencing as good - the great possibility for better, if you are experiencing as bad - the possibility for worst. But do not ever think the reality you are experiencing is reality. No it is just possibility. If you are experiencing fear, be very clear, it is only a possibility for greater fear which is going to come. If you experiencing courage be very clear, it is only the possibility for the greater courage which is going to come. Everything you experience as reality is just possibility. pehli jo baath aapko samajhni chahiye who hai ki aap job hi vaastaviktha ke roop mein anubhav karthe hain, vah keval ek sambhaavana hain, aapka vastaviktha kevak ek sambhavana hain. vah vaastav mein vaastaviktha nahin hain. As you are only a possibility not yet become reality, what you experience is also only a possibility not yet become reality. You realize your reality - anything you experience is not reality. As long as you remain as a possibility still need to be opened, experienced, explored, your reality also remains as possibility. If you live authenticity you will strengthen the right possibilities to happen, if not, you will allow your unconscious possibilities to open. That's all is life. Understand the essence of life. Dhyan se suniye. You are only a possibility. Your experience is also possibility. jab tak aap apne astithva ka asli vaastaviktha se parichay nahin hothe hain tab tak aap keval ek sambhavana hain. One of the biggest mistake you do in your life is you think you are still a possibility but your life is a reality. That is why you feel weak. Your life is not a stone wall already built. It is a wax model getting ready. The reality you experience is not a stone wall already built. It is only wax model getting ready. Authenticity is the intelligence to alter your possibility consciously in a right way. Listen authenticity is great possibility to alter your life in a right way. Let me expand on authenticity. Authenticity means the state where you are established in the peak of your capability, your possibility and you respond to life from who you perceive yourself to be, the inner image and peak in the outer image and establishing yourself in peak in others image about you. Whatever you perceive about you is only a possibility. If you think you are a swami, good person, nice person; even that is only a possibility for the greater saint to happen. If you think you are filled with jealousy, dirt, junk and what not, disease, depression; that is also not reality. It is a possibility for a greater disease, greater depression, greater disorders to happen. Now almost all of us experience our self as a mixture of both. How many of you cognize what I am saying? You experience yourself as a mixture of both - little health and little disease, little goodness and little badness, little joy and little depression, little reconciliation and little fight, and little wealth and little poverty. So you are a possibility for any extreme. In a way you are a possibility for any possibility. When you are in a state of possibility for any possibility you are called seeker. Seeker is a person who is possibility for any possibility. If you already became sinner you can't be a seeker. If you are already a saint you can't be a seeker. If you are perceiving the possibility for both as a possibility in your reality, you are seeker; means do not know which side you are going to take, do not know what is going to be your life. aapke jeevan mein ho rahi sabse baDi galathi yah hai ki aap sochthe hain aap ek sambhaavana ho. kinthu aapka jevan vaastav evam yataarth hain. Keval shraddha se hi aap apni vaastaviktha ko sahi disha mein parivartith kar sakthe hain. Most of us experience ourself as a possibility for both possibilities and every possibility. I have seen even at the age of 60 planning to enter.. In today's Satsang Paramhamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) talked about the importance of identifying our root patterns. When we understand the root patterns of our life we can get out of those patterns. When we help others to get out of their patterns we can enrich them. Swamiji elaborated on 28th and 29th verse of Kathopnishad. When Nachiketa stands by his request, Yama falls in love with Nachiketa's Authenticity and tells him the first secret. He tells Nachiketa the importance of choosing between the "good" and the "pleasant". That which is good may not be always pleasant and that which is pleasant may not be always good for us. Swamiji inspired everyone to choose authenticity even if it appears unpleasant, because he who chooses the pleasant over the good misses the true end. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Prathap come on! Nachiketa wisely replies that nothing can substitute for the treasure of knowledge. Wealth, no matter how great, can neither prevent death nor can it be taken along after life ends. They are going around all the Singapore Sangha is going to all the Hindu organisations, the Indian organisations, connecting with them enriching with them with the Diwali homemade sweets. It's beautiful, my blessings, accepted. Blessings, I think all the international ashrams should do this. Anupama, I accepted all the sweets, great please do it. Great! And I wanted, I wanted all the international sangha to do this. Seattle, Los Angeles, Oman, Nepal, Toronto, Colorado, all the international sangha, San Jose, all of you should do this. You should create a friendly atmosphere among the Indian organizations. You should visit all the organizations andenrich them with the Diwali sweets and the friendship, friendliness. It's really a wonderful way to get together. Diwali sweets are more sweeter in the initial level than spiritual ideas. So, start with the Diwali sweets. Great, Singapore organization has done a beautiful work. They have clearly categorized all the organizations. So, I wanted all the centers all over the world, all of you to do the same thing. St Louis, Ohio, Toronto, Seattle, Varanasi, Charlotte,Houston, all of you please do it. My blessings. It's a beautiful way of reaching out to all the organizations and having friendliness. So, with this, I will move to the today's satsangh. I was expanding on the concept of "sincere thinking", "intense thinking". Yesterday I was explaining the definition of "manana", how the thinking can be aligned, how thinking can directly become wealth, treasure in your life, how it can directly make you rich. Please understand, your thinking makes you or breaks you and the thinking pattern you develop, first of all I wanted you all to know, thinking is not an accidental; it is happening with your voluntary involvement. Unfortunately, you always think, thinking is an accidental and you cannot control your mind. Please listen. Yes, you cannot directly cut the root of a huge banyan tree with the bare hand, but that does not mean you cannot control it. Please listen, dhyan se suniye. I'll give you a little better example. Your thinking process encouraged, entertained, enriched by you; but we go on believing because of our fake attempts to stop thinking has failed, it cannot be controlled. If you just try to run the centre of the road and stop the traffic, you can't do, but just a small red-light can stop the whole traffic. Please understand, if you try to run in the middle of the road and stop the traffic, it is a fake attempt. If that attempt fails, you cannot say the traffic can never be stopped. It can be stopped with the common understanding of red signal with the right attempt. It can't be stopped with the fake attempt; but it can be stopped with the right attempt. Same way, because your fake attempts have not helped you to stop thinking, you think thinking is not in your hand. No, is directly part of you. Just like your body movements are directly in your control, the mind movements are a directly in your control. So, first thing you need to know is, your thinking can be trained as you want. You do not need to constantly encourage the low self-esteem or very low ideas about you. That does not need to be encouraged and that is not your fate. Somebody came and asked me yesterday, 'Swamiji, what is the meaning of dreams?' I said, 'Your waking state itself has no meaning, why are you bothered about dream?' Because, even in your waking state, how you behave, why you behave the way you behave, why you do the way you do, why you do what you do, has no meaning! I have seen many people; sincerely they want to be always eternally loving, compassionate. Sincerely they want they should love the whole world, but they cannot even stand their wife! In today's morning satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) cautions his sangha to stand fast in their commitments. Many people feel they can take one holiday from practice: "just for today" they can miss the class, break the fast, relax the vow, whatever zcommitment they have made can be dropped for just one day. Nithyananda warns his devotees that this one moment of laziness, of falling out of integrity, destroys all dedication and all achievements of penance. That small moment can shake mountains. When devotees make a sacrifice, they are taking responsibility for their circumstances. Standing fast in the fire of sacrifice gives the understanding of eternal life. The guru has ultimate expectations for his followers: it is their responsibility to stretch themselves to meet his vision of their potential. That is the true meaning of "surrendering to the guru". TRANSCRIPTIONS:- I welcome all of you with my love and Blessings. Today Makara Sankranthi, Pongal festival. I Bless you all on this auspicious Makara Sankranthi and Pongal festival. Let everything be auspicious. Today the sun take Uttarayana. From today it is very auspicious 6 months. Actually yesterday morning itself the Uttarayana started. Just after Kalabhairava said, I went and verified the calendar. Yesterday morning Uttarayana started, that is why the Makara Jyothi festival was held yesterday itself in Sabari Mala. And if you observed today, for the first time the sun rays came inside the garba mandir on the face. And today in Arunachala temple, sun rays enters the garba mandir and worships Arunachaleshwara every year. Every year on this day, only on this day sun rays enter garba mandir of Arunachaleshwara and worships Mahadeva directly. So let the grace f Surya/Sun be on all of us. Now I can see Bengaluru north and San Diego, Blessings. I have never seen sun rays entering garba mandir and directly falling in the face. Great! And I also wanted to offer my condolences to Sri Sri Sri Balaganagadharanatha Swamiji the pontiff of Adi chunchanagiri samsthana mutt. He passed away yesterday night..evening. Yesterday evening He left the body in his own hospital -- BGS hospital and his age is 68. All of you should know, He was like our elder brother, father, guide and amazing supporter from day one I came to Bangalore. It is He who insisted that I should stay in Bangalore and He inaugurated our Dhyanapeetam understand the Day 1 2003 January 1st when we had nothing. nothing more than half an acre of the Bidadi banyan tree. Please understand Jan 5th to 2003 only we go this land. January 1st of 2003, we had only that half an acre bit of the banyan tree. Only that was our possession and nothing else, He came and inaugurated the ashram, Blessed, stood by us, supported us, He was a great support from the day 1 till his last days. I offer my condolences on behalf of me and Dhyanapeetam and I also offer my prayers to Kalabhairava who is He kshetra devata of the chunchanagiri kshetra. Let Swamiji's soul rest in peace. I can remember 1000 sweet memories of Him. Fortunately this village, where we are our ashram this village is called Banadur which is his birth place. And in initial level, when we had some oppositions or problems, He stood by us so strongly, of course He stood by us till the end in all best possible way in every small event eve if there are only 100, 200 people are going to gather, He will come attend the event and He will tell me 'I am always standing by you Swamiji'. Once He came to our event even without even me inviting. He said ' I heard you were doing this program and I was driving by this side and I wanted to come and attend'. He came and attended and went. I said, "Swamiji it is disrespect to you. Why did you come even without me even inviting or organizing? At least if you had informed me, I would have organized". He told me, "I heard there are few local people trying to oppose you and if I come and stand by you, they will not oppose you. That's why I came". I still remember not local villages, local villages from the beginning they gave instructions, all the local villages are his family relatives. He gave them instruction to support and stand by us. They always stood by us. There were some miscreants anti-social elements, they came and tried to create problem. He came voluntarily and stood by us protecting, defending us in so many ways. And I still remember, once there was a function in Bidadi. They were giving Tula bhara, giving his equal weight silver for him. So there was a huge flower palki, palanquin decorated for him. He was supposed to go in the procession. Everything was ready, He came and before He sat on the procession, He called the organizers and asked them, 'Did you invite Nithyananda Swami?'. They said No. He said what do you mean? He is the local head. Call Him. Organizers came running to Bidadi to the ashram, saying Swamiji has come, He is not getting into the Palki, He is waiting for you in the car.
