The First Human Incarnation to Rule through Culture and Policy | Rama Navami Special 2026

In this landmark Rama Navami discourse from 2012, THE SPH Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam provides a revolutionary perspective on the life of Sri Ramachandra Prabhu. The First Human Incarnation The SPH explains that while previous incarnations like Narasimha or Vamana returned to Vaikuntha immediately after their task, Sri Rama was the first being to be openly recognized as an Incarnation while still living in the body. He identifies Rama as the ultimate Culture Maker and Policy Maker of the Hindu tradition. The Concept of Tyaga (Sacrifice) The central theme of this talk is Tyaga. The SPH describes how Rama’s entire life was a series of extraordinary sacrifices—from leaving his kingdom to satisfy his father’s word to sacrificing his personal happiness for the sake of public opinion. He explains that these were not acts of weakness, but deliberate moves to establish a cultural fiber for the "Rama Rajya." Ramayana vs. Mahabharata: A Provocative Analysis A highlight of this Satsang is the comparison of the two great epics. The SPH asserts that in the Ramayana, there are "no villains"—only incidents of mood swings or temporary confusion (such as Kaikeyi’s one-hour confusion or Ravana’s one point of lust). Conversely, he discusses the complexities of the Mahabharata, where characters are deeply flawed, and Krishna stands as the sole exception. The Biology of Mistakes The discourse dives into the science of cycles: the 21-day peak cycle in men (lust) and the menstrual cycles in women (logic), explaining how great beings can fall into "mood swings" that lead to historic mistakes. He praises the safety and prosperity of Ravana’s Sri Lanka (7 crore population) while acknowledging the one mistake that defined his legacy. Official Event Details: Satsang Title: Rama Navami Special: Sri Rama the Policy and Culture Maker Occasion: Rama Navami (The Birthday of Sri Rama) Date of Talk: April 01, 2012 Location: KAILASA Sripuram, Hyderabad, India

Real Death & Reincarnation Testimony: How Not to Suffer When Leaving the Body

In this captivating video, we delve into the profound concept of integrity and its connection to creativity. The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam emphasizes the importance of being integrated into our thinking processes to unlock our true creative potential. Through a thought-provoking analysis of the Mahabharata, the epic of Indian History, we discover the significance of integrity in shaping our actions and the impact it has on our lives. Drawing upon the story of Yudhishthira, the SPH highlights the pivotal moment when integrity in thinking is tested. As the narrative unfolds, we witness the consequences of a single word uttered by Yudhishthira and its profound effect on his life. We explore the power of words, the weight they carry, and the necessity of aligning our thoughts with our life's purpose. The video challenges viewers to embrace integrity in both their words and their thinking. By doing so, it asserts that we can experience a reduction in negative thought patterns and unlock our creative potential. Integrity becomes a guiding principle, ensuring that our thoughts align with our existence and life's purpose. Ultimately, the video encourages viewers to reflect on the role of integrity in their own lives. It emphasizes that by embracing integrity in thinking, we can foster creativity within ourselves and bring workability and alignment to the outer world. I Had No Pain During Amputation!: Nithyananda Devotee | Nithyananda Satsang | 23 Sep 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 22, 2012 AT Thruvannamalai ASHRAM, INDIA In today's satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) observes a unique phenomenon among his followers. Commonly, the elder generation in a family is more religious and the younger members are rebellious, not wishing to attend temple or sit for spiritual instruction. In Nithyananda's sangha, however, the reverse is often true. Young people are drawn to the dynamic teachings and life-changing practices, while their elders feel more resistance. Nithynananda points out that older devotees often grow more youthful and energetic once they attend his programs, demonstrating that it is never too late to rejunvenate oneself. Unclutch® From Depression | Nithyananda Satsang | 23 Sep 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 23, 2012 AT TIRUVANNAMALAI ASHRAM, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. The Gita was imparted by the enlightened Hindu incarnation Sri Krishna to the warrior-prince Arjuna over 5000 years ago. Amazingly, the spiritual wisdom and life solutions offered in the Gita are so universal and current that even today it is used as a personal transformation guide. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 23, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) counsels us never to abandon our sadhana, our spiritual practice. Without continuous unclutching from suffering in life, even our feeling connection with the master can be broken. We become attached to our negative thoughts and memories and our devotion can be lost. Never-ending sadhana is the sacred secret for our salvation. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Bhagavad Gita Chapter 6, verse 23 23 September 2012 Successfully hundreds of participants have completed Nirahara samyama level 2, 4th batch today. Understand, this instruction is only for ashramites and THE Samyama participants. All the ashramites and THE Samyama participants, please understand, eat when you feel like. Do not have a law, not to eat or to have regular diet pattern. No.. do not have both. Don't have the habit that I will eat in time regularly 2 meal or 3 meal a day. No.. same way, don't have a law, I will not eat at all. The real samyama happens when you don't even have the vow of samyama and feel like not eating at all and move with the flow. I tell you, I don't feel like eating at all. Only when I see the body becomes too hot and needs something I pour some juice. So you don't even need to restrict yourself only to juice. You can even eat solid food whenever you feel like. But make sure neither the visualization of the food or the smell of the food or your mind interferes in the samyama and ask you to eat. Only like casually, "Alright! Ah, today some temple prasad has come. Come on, let me put it in my mouth." Try to learn to live like a God. Gods do not have vow not to eat. They just do not feel like. So live like a Gods on the planet earth. I think now, especially THE Samyama participants have been really trained. So, now from today all the ashramites who are doing Nirahara samyama and THE Samyama, all the THE samyama participants, all of you will end the vow, you will not have this vow anymore. Feel like, have it. Don't feel like, leave it. So the samyama out of freedom. Samyama out of joy not out of vow. I tell you, then body just jumps into a new kind of wellness. It jumps into a new kind of that feeling well. So today onwards you will do something called unique FREE Samyama. The Samyama without the vow. So, from today you will have samyama without vow. Today I have something unique from our Siddha products release, officially Dhyanapeetam's Kadukkai podi and Kadukkai tablets. It is a sarvaroha nivarani. I am very happy to release these two. This is the only thing which I take regularly. I think I don't need to introduce about kadukkai podi anymore. All of you know the power of it. It increases the oxygen flow in the blood 300% and we call it in Sanskrit Haritaki and the exact meaning of the word Haritaki means 'the drop of the nectar fell from Indra's cup and that drop is Haritaki'. I can say it is 100% true. It is nectar. It is nectar. I tell you guys this is the most powerful spiritual cleanser. I wanted to give you the title. Not just body cleanser. Because the oxygen level in the body increases 300%, it directly works on your non-mechanical parts of the brain. When the non-mechanical parts of the brain gets awakened, then all the spiritual truths are understood you will be able to grasp all the spiritual truths and live. So, not only that from now, in all akashik reading sessions, Kalabhairava dharshans, haritaki will be given as a prasadam. Haritaki is the Kalabhairava's prasada. Kalabhairava should be offered Haritaki and this should be shared as a prasadam of Kalabhairava among the devotees. And all our devotees, every month on Chitra nakshatram and Ashtami should do, Ashtami is the thithi for Kalabhairava and the thithi in which Swamiji was born. We should have Kalabhairava pooja, Kalabhairava's worship and should have Haritaki as prasadam, share with everybody. I am doing some more research, is there a food item, cooked adding Haritaki, if that is there we will make that as a compulsory in our Anna Mandir. Nothing. Nothing like Haritaki. That is the really nectar from Devaloka. Let's start today morning satsang. In Bhagavad Gita, 6th chapter Dhyana Yoga, 23rd verse. tam vidyaad duhkha-samyoga viyogam yoga-samgnyitam | sa nishcayena yoktavyaha yogo nirvinna chetasaa || The translation : Understand that separation from being absorbed with suffering is termed as 'feeling connection'. And this has to be practised with conviction, with an insight that does not pull you down.

The Secret of Natural Enlightenment | Nithyananda Satsang | 22 Sept 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 22, 2012 AT TIRUVANNAMALAI ASHRAM, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 22, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) describes the ultimate state of enlightened lifestyle. When we are completely unclutched in our inner space, and still able to function smoothly in ordinary life, we embody the state of sahaja samadhi, which is the perpetual state of all enlightened masters. Once our kundalini is awakened, we achieve the highest level of consciousness and our spirit naturally flows toward this ultimate destination of sahaja samadhi. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Bhagavad Gita Chapter 6, Dhyana Yoga, Verse 22 yam labdhvaa chaaparam laabham manyate naadhikam tataha | yasmin-sthito na duhkhena gurunaapi vicaalyate || Translation: Having obtained which one does not esteem any other acquisition as something more and being established in which one is not shaken by even the most grievous suffering. Bhagawan is describing one of the greatest state of advaida experience. Please understand, there are various states, various stages of Samadhi -- Sabija, Nirbija, Savikalpa, Nirvikalpa, Bhava Samadhi. There are various stages of Samadhi. Bhagawan is describing the ultimate Sahaja Samadhi. If you can move your body and mind and relate with the ordinary world as they understand life but completely being established in your nirvikalpa Samadhi, it is called sahaja Samadhi. Please understand, being established in the nirvikalpa Samadhi in your inner space, completely unclutched in the inner space, with that if you are able to move your body and mind in a so-called society's normalcy, that is sahaja samadhi. The most powerful, the ultimate spiritual state, even Gods need to do tapas to achieve this state. Even Gods who achieved their states by the various practices need to do unique special tapas to achieve this state. yam labdhvaa chaaparam laabham manyate naadhikam tataha | yasmin-sthito na duhkhena gurunaapi vicaalyate || Having obtained which state one does not esteem any other acquisition as something more and being established in which state one is not shaken by even the most grievous suffering is Sahaja Samadhi. We call it Sahaja Sthithi. The state where the space where thoughts are not required for the smooth functioning of your body and even mind. Mind can function without thoughts. Please understand, even though usually the mind is bunch of thoughts it can function without thoughts. You may ask, "How can mind which is bunch of thoughts can function without thoughts." Just by the presence of the super consciousness, without any agitation or the after effects and side effects which will be usually created by thoughts, mind can function, mind can flow. Unless the mind functions you wont even be able to stand, sit and walk. It functions without any thoughts. No thought. No movement. That is why I always tell people; I am not existing as you think of me. Same way, after I leave the body I am not going to be absent as you think of the absence. Understand, an enlightened master, a person who is established in sahaja samadhi, he will not be present as you understand presence, he will not be absent as you understand absence. Krishna says very beautifully, whoever understands the way I function, will be liberated. Understand he says, if you understand how I am functioning you will be liberated. How funny it is! You may think, "Ah! How will I be liberated if I know how Krishna is functioning". You will understand your mind is also functioning in the same way and just your ignorance creates complication. You will just unclutch that very moment. "Wow! This is what! Then why was I connecting all the thoughts unnecessarily and creating constant suffering for me. I wasted my time creating constant suffering for myself." When you create constant suffering for you, even the good thing you want to do to others will become suffering for them and you will cry, "Oh! Even if I do good things people take it bad." They are not taking it bad; you are doing it as bad even though you plan good. But when you stop torturing yourself, when you stop giving suffering to you, even if you do something what you think or you may feel as bad, will end up as good. When an enlightened master uses his trishool even then He only heals. When an ordinary man even if he gives gift he only destroys others. In Calcutta, when I was staying, I saw, I was staying in the banks of the Ganges; two neighbours, every day morning there will be a fight. They will scream in that village Bengali. Scream means really scream.

Right Visualization Can End Suffering | Nithyananda Satsang | 18 Sep 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 18, 2012 AT TIRUVANNAMALAI ASHRAM, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 19, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) presents the concept of remembrance visualization. The remembrance visualization of an individual indicates the images a person sees to illustrate an idea. For example, if a person hears the word "happiness" he may think of a smiling face or a warm home -- whatever makes him happy. Nithyananda tells us that if we can transform our remembrance visualization to that of the master, we can rise to his level of consciousness also. He gives us a meditation to align with Krishna's resemblance visualization: imagining a lamp in a windless place. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- I welcome you all with my love and respects. In Bhagavad Gita, 6th Chapter, Dhyana Yoga, 19th verse. yathaa deepo nivaatasthaha nengate sopamaa smrutaa | yogino yata-chittasya yunjato yoga-maat-manaha || The translation: The similarity of a lamp that does not get agitated in a windless place is remembered for a yogi who has subdued his thoughts, patterns and is absorbed in uniting with the Self. Wow! Bhagawan is using an example. Similarity of a lamp that does not get agitated in a windless place is remembered for a yogi who has subdued his thought, patterns and is absorbed in a meditative state in uniting with the Self. See, in your life, you will have something called resemblance visualization. Even if you remember a lamp, windless place, your mind settles. There are some visualizations- 'yasya smarana maatrena jenma samsaara bandhanaat.' Just by remembrance you are liberated. This is one of that type of visualization. See, in your life, you will have something called resemblance visualization. Please understand, the word I am coining 'resemblance visualization' means when I utter the word 'peace' you will remember some place where you had really peace in your life. When I say violence you will remember some place which you have seen in violence in your place. I tell you, my resemblance visualizations, some of my resemblance visualizations, I tell you. Whenever I utter the word 'Guru Bhakthi' my resemblance visualization will be always the Arunagiri Yogeeswara's Samadhi and the place outside the Arunagiri Yogeeswara's Samadhi in Arunachaleswara temple. Whenever I utter the word 'peace', always, in Belur Mutt Ramakrishna's temple is there. Outside the temple on the banks of Ganges, walking. Whenever I utter the word 'Guru Bhakthi', this is the spot will come to my memory. (photo is shown) Whenever I utter the word 'peace', the Belur Mutt temple, Sri Ramakrishna's temple. Outside the temple in the banks of Ganges I used to walk in the evenings. That is the most peaceful moments I have experienced in my life. Sometimes I will walk more than one or two hours, I will not remember I am carrying the body. I have just disappeared into that beautiful tall temple and the flowing Ganga and that green lawn. For that one hour or two hour, I know only one thing; the temple exists, lawn exists, Ganga exists. That's all. Whenever I remember the power, I always remember the tip of Arunachala Hill. Whenever I remember peace, I remember only this place. (photo is shown). And whenever I remember power I remember the top, the edge of Arunachala Hill. That is the expression of the power -- the big bang. When MahaDeva stood as a light shaft, the top of the Arunachala Hill. So understand, the resemblance visualizations you are carrying in your life defines the quality of life you lived. When I utter the word 'violence' I remember only the holocaust museum in Washington, D.C. which I saw. Ofcourse, before I saw the museum I never used to have any resemblance visualization for violence. But when I saw that museum I really melted. That moment I took a decision. Hindus have suffered more than this. May be a million Jews were killed. But only in Kashmir more than few million Hindus have been killed, massacred. I don't know exactly how many number of Jews have died. But I know, how many millions of Hindus have been persecuted due to their religious belief, the religious persecution. And I decided we will have Hindu holocaust museum. Anyhow, the resemblance visualization plays a major role in raising the quality of your consciousness. Whenever I utter the word 'controlling' I only remember the school to which, once in a while I used to go. Because there it was too controlling. I tell you, if you want to really, really, really enjoy a Master, as Jesus says "Drink the Master", you need to understand His resemblance visualizations.

Nithyananda: Ramana Maharshi Is My First Love | Nithyananda Satsang | 17 Sep 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 19 2012 AT TIRUVANNAMALAI ASHRAM, INDIA On the great festival day of Ganesh Chaturthi, Paramahamsa Nithyananda speaks on Hinduism's most beloved God. He comments that Ganesha is more like a household family member than a deity. Sometimes the rituals and rules of temple worship can create distance between devotees and God, but in Ganesha's case there is no such problem. Everyone is equally welcome at His temples; and He is accepted by worshippers in every sampradaya. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Ganesha, beloved of all hinds. Understand, Ganesha more like a house-hold member of hindu family, than a god. Because he does not carry anything related to the, seriousness of god. but he can create the sacredness in all of us. Embodiment of pranava, omkara sound. He is the first god, in the hindu tradition. His very shape shows he is a happy person. Not bothered about nirahara samyama, not bothered about any other things. Living blissfully, happily eating whatever devotes give, above all, beyond the red tape of agamas. Sometime, the agamas become red tapism. Stopping us, making us feel 'distanced' from the divine. This happened in me, before going to Ramakrishna mission, I had the darshan of Sri Ramakrishna in my dream, in the visions. I used to feel so close with Sriramakrishna. I just know he is mine I am his' But when I went to the Ramakrishna mission, when I took up the responsibility of pujari, there is so much of rules and restrictions "Don't stand here, Don't sit there, Don't touch this, don't touch that" With so much of restrictions, I really felt I lost the closeness with Sriramakrishna. Sometimes, the agamas which is created, which was supposed to help you, to feel the deeper connection with the deity or guru or god, creates certain distance. But, when I settled with that system, then I saw, the distance also disappeared, and the system was also flowing properly and the feeling connection was growing, getting built. Anyhow, Ganesha is not bound by any of this agamic, red tapism, bureaucracy. Ganesha temples are the only temples where there is no caste system. Anybody can be a priest. In shiva temples, Iyengars cannot be priests. Even if you are a brahmin, if you are from iyengar family, you can't be a priest. In vishnu temples, even if you are a brahmin, if you are from Iyer sub sect, you can't be a priest. In the saiva siddhanta temples, even if you are a brahmin, if you are iyengar or iyer, you can't be a priest. You have to be only a desigar. Only that sub-sect can be a priest. But Ganesha does not have any restrictions. Not only that, he is the largest worshipped god in the world. Because no other religion has so many gods and there is no hindu who will not worship Ganesha, even if they are vaishnavites they start their rituals with Ganesha. They may not accept shiva or Shaivism but they accept Ganesha. In hinduism, there are seven Sampradayas. -- Worshippers of Ganesha -- Worshipers of Vishnu -- Worshippers of shiva -- Worshipers of Devi -- Worshipers of Surya -- Worshippers of Subramanya -- Worshipers of their Gurus No one god is accepted by all 7 sampradayas other than Ganesha. All seven sampradayas, has to start their rituals with Ganesha worship. Souras - Worshipping Surya. They don't need to accept Shiva or Vishnu. And in their worship, you will not find place for Shiva or Vishnu. Shivites - You will not find any place for vishnu in their worship system. In vaishnavites, you will not find any place for shiva in their worship system. The vaishnavites are said to have a bell in their ears. If they see somebody chanting "shiva shiva", they will ring the bell fast so that the mantra does not enter into their eyes. Same way, shivites, They are said to never cross any vishnu cities or where the vishnu temples exist. Because they should not get influenced it seems. Anyhow! Shaktas, put shiva at the feet of Devi. They don't worship any other deities. But whether you are a shaktha, shaiva, vaishnava soura, gaumara or kartabaja, Kartabaja means the guru worshippers - people who worship their own guru as incarnation of God. Actually Nithyananda sampradaya will fall under the kartabajas only. You guys are guru worshippers. Basically, you believe your own Guru is an incarnation of God. So you guys are the Guru sampradayas. Kartabaja sampradayas - sampradayigars. Basically vedantis are Guru worshippers. So, what ever sampradaya you may belong to, but you have to start your worship with Ganesha, Ganesha puja. Ganesha, is the most beloved of the whole hindu tradition and who does not create the red tapism of agamas between disciples, devotees followers and himself. Easy to approach, Can be worshipped through any medium, You don't need to even have a big stone deity installed as per agamas. Just cow dung, a piece of cow dung, keep it and say "Ganapathaye namaha", He is there. Thats the beauty of Ganesha. His form is the ultimate.

Advantages of Indian Gurukul Education Nithyananda | Nithyananda Satsang | 17 Sep 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 22, 2012 AT TIRUVANNAMALAI ASHRAM, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment.

Catch the Source of Your Thoughts | Nithyananda Satsang | 17 Sep 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 17, 2012 AT TIRUVANNAMALAI ASHRAM, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 18, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) gives us a technique to identify our prarabdha karma. Prarabdha is the portion of our karma which we chose to balance during this lifetime. Nithyananda instructs us to meditate on the gap between each of our thoughts. Within that gap lies the emotion which generated the thought. When we identify the emotion, we can fulfill the karma associated with it. For example, if we long for some experience, is the longing generated by desire, fear, or the wish to help others? Understanding what motivates us makes it possible to act accordingly: renounce desire, transcend fear, or fulfill our wish to help humanity. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- CATCH THE SOURCE OF YOUR THOUGHTS! Bhagavad Gita Chapter 6, verse 18 17 Sep 2012 yadaa viniyatam cittam aatmanye-vaava-tishtate | nisspruhas-sarva-kaamebhyaha yukta ityuch-yate tadaa || When one has restrained the thought patterns and is free from the longing for all desires and remains absorbed in oneself, then he is experiencing the higher consciousness. I tell you, every human being has to spend little time in experiencing higher consciousness especially before entering into the life, before 21. Even incarnations, see the life of Parasurama, see the life of Sri Krishna, see the life of Rama, Rama goes to Vashishta and learns Yogavaashishtam. Parasurama goes to Dattaatreya and learns the science of enlightenment. Krishna goes to Shandipa, learns the science of enlightenment. We have a unfortunate misunderstanding and fear, if our kids go to gurukkul and learn the science of enlightenment, they may just become sanyasis. Move out of life. No. Krishna did not move out of life. Rama did not move out of life. Parasurama did not move out of life. Parasurama was killing people left and right. Rama was ruling the country and what all Krishna did you know. None of them became sanyasis. Gurukkul is not a place where you are asked to move out of life. You are sharpened, prepared to move into the life. To catch your prarabdha. Understand this small story: One person had his computer, loaded various softwares, photoshop, windows, so many. He locked his house and went away for a trip, came back after two years. Unfortunately he forgot what all software he has in his computer. He got his computer back but he doesn't know what all softwares he has downloaded. He is trying to do different activities which he can't do the software which he has already downloaded. If he is trying to do a different activity other than the softwares available, he will never be successful. He can break his head and break his computer, break his keyboard, break his hard disk, break his mother board, break his computer table, break the house itself, but he can't be successful. You need to know, he needs to remember the softwares available in his computer. Only then he can do whatever activities he wants to. Only then he can even plan to download the softwares which does not have. I tell you, your body is your computer. Your long trip is your death and new birth. Your softwares are prarabdha. If you don't know your prarabdha you can neither achieve nor plan for your further future. You may be trying so many things. Nothing, nothing works out. I tell you, without the knowledge of prarabdha anything you try will never work out, sometimes it may work out like an accident not as a fulfillment. So, learning the science of the softwares available and learning to download the softwares from the internet, learning to upgrade yourself is what is usually done in gurukkuls. When you come back from the long trip, first your guru does is making you understand your prarabdha, the softwares which already exists in your computer. Then teaching you the science of downloading new softwares required to fulfill your life. If you want to do something new, the next upgrading your old softwares and finally supporting you to fulfill your prarabdha. Just like Buddhism, in Buddhism it is mandatory every human being goes through science of enlightenment before he enters regular life. Same way, every child should go through the science of enlightenment in Hinduism also before he enters the regular life. We need gurukkuls in every village. We need gurukkuls in every city. We need gurukkuls in every taluk teaching the science of enlightenment. Teaching the truths of enlightenment. When one has restrained the thought patterns and is free from the longing for all the desires

Are You Eating With Your Head? | Nithyananda Satsang | 16 Sep 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 16, 2012 IN TIRUVANNAMALAI, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 17, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) relates the four principles of enlightened lifestyle. The key to a godly life, free of pain, is to be diligent. Nithyananda defines diligence as an attitude of restraint and self-awareness. The four zones of diligence are eating, sleeping, judgment and relationship. We should eat only when physically hungry and sleep only when the body is falling asleep; we should exercise our decisions based on our own observations, not those of others, and initiate stable relationships founded on affection, not imagination. This is the lifestyle of enlightenment. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- I welcome you all with my love and respects. Today we are starting the Nirahara samyama 2nd level. Hundreds of people all over the world are starting the Nirahara samyama 2nd level and I am also starting my "THE Samyama". Yesterday whole day and night I felt as if I have done a mistake. Yesterday I ate little solid food. I really felt 'Oh God!' Something like the body was not settling.. Then I decided, come on! Now body is back to Nirahara frequency. No more aahaaraa. No more food. Continuously the brahmacharya kriya requests are pouring from all over the world. So many want to become brahmacharis. Then why do you guys are sitting in your house and destroying your family? God! 6th chapter Dhyana yoga 17th verse. yuktaahaara vihaarasya yukta ceshtasya karmasu yukta svapnaavabodhasya yogo bhavati dukhaha One who is diligent in eating food or in enjoyment, please understand, one who is diligent means only the quantity needed for your body not needed for your tongue. One who is diligent in eating means do not allow your tongue to make decisions. Most of your time, in your eating your body does not play any role. Only your visualization, you visualize that dosa, soft idli, the moment you visualize, your eyes visualization, your nose smell, your tongue taste, come on, come on, get, get, get. Your body says, no, no, no, I don't need. Body has no hunger. Then mind comes, no, no, you don't know. Now if you don't eat you will feel hungry after 3-4 hours. That time I will be travelling. I will be taking class. I will be in the program. I am telling you, usually argument goes on. This is the way it will be. For you it will be different. It will say, Hey! After few hours you will not find a hotel. You will not find food. Now itself eat. But the moment you sit in front of the plate, you lost the game. A sadhu who falls in the bed with opposite gender and a sadhu who falls in front of a food plate is one and the same. The moment your mind comes in and justifies and you sit in front of the plate, Over! Your life is destroyed. Let your eating be based on body means let the visualizations not instigate you. Especially these non-veg people, the moment they see the photograph of that chicken, all these, that, that's it. For Andhra people, this avakka ooruka, let your visualization not be a instigator or decision maker of your food. yuktaahaara vihaarasya yukta ceshtasya karmasu Diligent in eating. Please understand, the word diligent means 3 things. 1. Let your visualization or smelling capacity, one more thing, please understand, just like the moment you are able to visualize, your other senses respond. For example, if you visualize food, your tongue responds. If you visualize the opposite gender your body responds. If your senses respond due to your visualization it is called perversion. Same way the moment you visualize certain food, your nostrils, your nose responds, means feels its smell. Your nose feels the smell. Dangerous. When your smell gets into the perversion, please understand, sometimes certain perfume smell can immediately instigate the feeling of food or feeling of lust in you. It is unfortunate the perversions become decision makers in your life. I tell you, when your body wants food and you eat, it will be diligent. When your body feels the lust, if you unite, it will be embodiment of love. Without the second layer instigator, if you decide, it will always lead you to fulfillment. Trupti. Unfortunately, all your major decisions are by the pervasion. Understand, this is a very... if you are a boss and making decisions based on different fellows' inputs, you will live like an orphan even in the old age. Nobody will be there around you. Neither you would have built professional relationships nor built personal relationships. Blessed are those who can build both relationships.

Is Food Necessary To Stay Alive | Nithyananda Satsang | 15 Sep 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 15, 2012 IN TIRUVANNAMALAI, INDA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 16, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) unveils the Middle Path for spiritual seekers. Both the extreme of self-indulgence, eating and sleeping too much, and the extreme of self-abnegation, fasting in constant suffering and torturing oneself with sleeplessness, prevent us from achieving yoga -- union with the Divine. Moderation in every activity is the path to liberation. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- I welcome all of you with my love and blessings. Today successfully we are ending the Nirahara Samyama Level 3. After a long time, I am also completing. We are ending the Nirahara Samyama Level 3. But immediately I am starting 'THE Samyama'. Formally I take little bit of Venkateswara's prasadam like a sign of completing the Nirahara Samyama level 3 and today I will give you all, whoever is completing Nirahara samyama level 3, all of them little bit of Venkateswara's prasadam. All of you guys can complete the Nirahara samyama level 3 and start eating. But I am going to continue 'THE Samyama' from today. I am also planning to work on my body. Within next 6 months, I feel I can taper down, even this juice which I am taking liquid, even that I will taper down and become a complete Nirahari. Without even water or any liquid, just to give a statement about the yogic powers, not to be pride of or egoistic about me, what is there? There is nothing. Even if I eat nothing, if I don't eat also, nothing. Just to give inspiration to all you guys about the yogic powers. Just to tell you guys that it is possible. Still it is possible. We have not lost the science. The science is available. Whether you are available or not is the only question. But, the science is still available to the world. Every incarnation proves all yogic and spiritual sciences are still alive and available. When I land on the planet earth, the first statement I make is, "Hey! Still I am alive and available." All the yogic sciences and spiritual sciences, inner sciences are available and alive. Now only you have to decide whether you are alive or not, whether you are available to it or not. I have one more good news. From yesterday, I made myself available on Facebook also. I was only available in Twitter earlier. Yesterday, I started putting messages on Facebook. SriNithyananda.Swami- that's the ID. SriNithyananda.Swami. From today, morning satsang will be called as Nithya Satsang and this means we will have satsang every day without missing even a single day. Till now, 118 requests for Brahmacharya kriya has come. Still more continuously calls and emails are coming. So, because of that I am postponing the Brahmacharya kriya for one or two days. And I also need to end the satsang little early for next 3 -- 4 days because of Malaysia NSP and Tiruvannamalai NSP. So after the Malaysia and Tiruvannamalai NSP, I will share the Brahmacharya kriya with you all. Because I have to sit and teach the whole one and half hours. And I wanted all the people who are going to practice this on 2-way. Let us start today's satsang. In Bhagavad Gita, 6th chapter, Dhyana yoga, 16th verse. naatyash-natastu yogosthi na chai-kaanta-manashnataha | na caathi svapna-sheelasya jaagrato naiva chaarjuna || In every respect, o'Arjuna, neither the one who eats too much or the one who refrains from eating, and neither the one who is sleepy nor the one who is sleepless reach the state of intense action and perfection. See the sutra, exactly on the day when we are completing the Nirahara samyama. It is almost like the timing is so perfect with Krishna. That is why I say, you can never call these great Masters in past tense. See, it is exactly telling, today, for ordinary human beings, neither eating too much nor eating nothing, neither sleeping too much nor non-sleeping, both extremes are not right. Please understand, when I say Nirahara, it is not that I make you completely without eating. I make your body receive the energy directly from the ether. So it is totally different. When you become complete Nirahari, the state you achieve is totally different from what Bhagawan calls here. So, in 6 months I am also going to completely stop eating. I am slowly tapering down. But that does not mean I am doing something against what Bhagawan is saying. No. Bhagawan is giving a certain example because there are some people who stop eating and stop sleeping out of their ego and to get attention from others. My Niraharis don't even remember. They just live.

In Bhagavad Gita, sixth chapter, Dhyana yoga Fifteenth verse.: Yunjan -nevam-sadaat-maanam yogi niyata-maanasaha Shaantim nirvana paramaam mat samsthaa madhigacchati Translation: In this manner the devotee whose mind is established, continuously connects with the higher consciousness, attains profound peace and becomes immersed in me. Now Bhagawan is in the mode of blessing. After giving a strong instructions; Usually I do that. If I give a strong dose, then I call that person, "ok ok don't worry " and give one hug and say "alright, alright" . No, if that person is receptive. He receives that firing and really feels I should transform. so bhagawan is in the blessing mode. Beautifully he blesses. mat samsthaa madhigacchati He becomes immersed in me. I tell you, This is the greatest blessing you can receive. When "I say I will be with you", Don't believe. When I say "You will be with me", believe only that word. I will be with you for the whole world. But you will be with me is the real thing. Understand I am telling you, Wealth, Health, name and fame, life, body, mind, joy, pleasure -- When you ask, I will give all these things. But, whom I really really love, Somebody whom I really love, who has served his whole life dedicating himself or herself completely to me, If they come to me and ask me personally, "Swamiji, What is the best thing you know in the universe? Can you give me that ?" I tell you, I promise, I will give this only -- What Bhagawan calls as "Matsamstha madhigachyate." Being immersed in me. Nothing! Nothing is equivalent to this. Great saint, Tirunavukkarasar swamigal, from south india, even when he was put in prison, illegal imprisonment is the eternal law for incarnations, at least few days they are made to suffer.

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 12, 2012 IN TIRUVANNAMALAI, INDA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 14, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) emphasizes the importance of celibacy as a lifestyle for all spiritual seekers. He gives specific physical reasons why sexual activity prevents the accurate awakening of kundalini energy and why it impedes the journey to enlightenment. To reprogram our biomemories we must transform all primitive actions which bind to our former animal lives. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Today, Nirahara samyama successfully happening 9th day. Today we are starting Nirahara Samyama level 1 4th batch. prashaan-taatmaa vigata-bheehi brahma-chaarivrate sthitaha | manaha samyamya macchittaha yukta aaseetha matparaha || Being serene with oneself, abstaining from apprehensions, having subdued the thoughts, intent on the vow of living like a God, following the vow of celibacy, intensely reflecting on Me, live your life devoted to Me. In this verse, Bhagawan breaks one of the important sacred secret/truth to the humanity. He uses the word 'brahmacharya'- living like a God. Just because I have the Rishi sampradaya also, does not mean I accept this concept of marriage in the life of a seeker. I am making it very clear. I am putting it very clear. Worst thing can happen to a seeker, in the spiritual life is marriage, I know, I am going to break thousands of peoples' ignorance. Understand as a compassionate being I have to give a place for everybody. Tolerated is different, accepted is different, realized is different. Marriage in the seekers' life is tolerated. Rishi order is accepted. But only brahmacharya is promoted. Whenever you go to the peak based on body you get back to your animal bio-memory and again it takes atleast a few years of spiritual practice for you to raise to the level of divine. It is very rare I speak about the importance of brahmacharya because sometime it puts the householders into depression. But just because they fall into depression I cannot be hiding the sacred truths for quite a long time. No. It is time I have decided I am going to speak about it completely. Let me define brahmacharya as per the smruti. Karmanaa manachaa vaachaa sarvaavastu sarvadaa Sarvatra maidyatvyahu brahmacharyam prachakshyadet Brahmacharya is defined as abstinence from sexual intercourse in thought, word and deed in all conditions and places and times. Brahmacharyena tapasa devaa mrutyum ubagnataha This is the Atharva veda's definition. The Gods are said to have conquered death by brahmacharya. Tantra speaks about brahmacharya, understand. I will give you some more references. Jnana Sankalini Tantra : nathapas tapayithi ahuhu brahmacharyam tapottamam oordvaretwa bhavet yastu sadhevonatu maanushaahaa The true tapas is brahmacharya and he who practices it uninterruptedly is divine not human. Now let me come to the practical side of it. Understand, already one-third of your life is gone in search of food, one-third has gone in sleep, in the remaining one-third, till 25 too busy with education, after 65, body and mind won't be useful to do anything, then between 25 and 65, that 40 years, if you get married also, gone. Seeking is building the new consciousness for you to take a jump. It is like building an airport. How an airport runway is necessary for an aircraft to take off, brahmacharya body is necessary for you to take off into enlightenment, into the planes of consciousness, into the space of consciousness. One of the main reasons, Hinduism stopped being the tradition of living stream, as a head of the oldest Hindu monastery, as a representative of the Hindu tradition, I am making this statement as self-introspection and self-criticism. It is very, very, very unfortunate that Hindu tradition is not remaining as a living stream of enlightened beings. I can say, there are enlightened beings. There are few incarnations but unfortunately Hinduism lost the streams of living Masters, the streams which guarantees the production of living Master. The organization or sangas, which guarantees atleast a few hundred living Masters are continuously available from that source to the planet earth. I can guarantee you, in Tibetian Buddhist tradition, at any given point, one thousand living Masters are there, enlightened masters. I can guarantee you, Japanese Zen tradition, at any given time, hundred living Masters are there, minimum. I cannot guarantee you, in Hinduism there is any organization which can guarantee minimum hundred living masters at any given time.

Technique For Serenity | Nithyananda Satsang | 11 Sep 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2012 IN MADURAI, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verses 13 & 14, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) presents Sri Krishna's exact instructions for the posture we should use to meditate. Clear details are provided for the physical, mental and spiritual attitudes we should cultivate to properly engage the meditative state. Nithyananda informs us that the pose Sri Krishna describes is the ideal position to experience ultimate samadhi (spiritual bliss). TRANSCRIPTIONS:- TECHNIQUE FOR SERENITY Bhagavad Gita Chapter 6, verses 13-14 11 Sep 2012 Let's enter into the morning satsang, in Bhagavad Gita, 6th Chapter, Dhyana Yoga, 13th verse. samam kaaya-shiro-greevam dhaarayan-nachalam sthiraha | samprekshya naasi-kaagram svam dishash-chaanava-lokayan || Holding the entire body, the neck and the head in a steady manner, look intensely at the tip of the nose without being distracted in any way. Again, it is a technique. Please understand, in vedic tradition, one thing is banned. Never ever to comment on the technique. Only on philosophies, commentaries can be written. Never on the technique. Techniques have to just have to be followed. So, I will only give you the instruction from this verse. samam kaaya-shiro-greevam dhaarayan-nachalam sthiraha | samprekshya naasi-kaagram svam dishash-chaanava-lokayan || Holding the entire body, the neck and the head in a steady manner, look intensely at the tip of the nose without being distracted in any way. Hold the entire body, the neck and the head in a steady manner, look intensely at the tip of the nose without being distracted in any way. Don't be distracted.. this is the most powerful posture, the asana, in which you can experience Samadhi. I can't comment on this verse at all. Because He is so precise, I can only instruct. Hold the entire body, the neck and the head in a steady manner, look intensely at the tip of the nose. The next sloka is also connected to this verse. So I will give the instructions from the next verse also. In Bhagavad Gita, 6th Chapter, Dhyana Yoga, 14th verse. prashaan-taatmaa vigata-bheehi brahma-chaarivrate sthitaha | manaha samyamya macchittaha yukta aaseetha matparaha || Being serene within oneself, abstaining from apprehension, having subdued from the thoughts, intent on the vow of living like a God, intensely reflecting on Me, live your life, devoted to Me. More than this, no direct instruction can be given by any incarnation for the human beings to save themselves. It is like a manual to save yourself. If the fellow who is struggling in the water says, "eh! Why should I follow your instruction" then what to do? The instructions are for you to save yourself. "Why? Why should I follow? Are you the savior or what? You are God or what?" then die, what to do? Instructions are for you to save yourself. Not for the captain to feel he is a big guy. So all of you understand, such a clear instruction, being serene within oneself, means stop having agitated mind. Agitated mind breaks your health now, brings hell in the old age; abstaining from apprehensions means free from the fear and greed. Having subdued the thoughts - having the reduced number of thoughts, beautifully Bhagawan uses the word, brahma-chaarivrate , following the vow of celibacy, intensely reflecting on me live your life devoted to me. On this word, brahmacharya, I wanted to conduct a complete full satsang, may be 2-3 satsangs continuously. So I will speak on this verse from tomorrow.
