Live Without Conflict , Chennai , 7 Feb 2009
All over the world, the need for spirituality is being felt. Wall Street journalists are writing about the Bhagavad Gita, and management gurus are turning towards Eastern ideas. The Eastern gurus, based in the East, are well respected and their spiritual ideas are not just heard, but practiced. People are now sincere about practicing spiritual ideas because they contribute something meaningful to their lives. And in recent years, people are no longer seeking the guidance of "trekker" gurus who interpret Eastern teachings in their own language. People now want straight, authentic teachings from the source. In our tradition, Krishna is the ultimate manager. His entire life was management. He embodied dharma, which is the experience of a conflict-free inner space. We all have two identities. The identity we present to the outer world, called "Ahamkar," will always be more than what we truly are. The identity we believe as our true self, called "Mamakar," will always be less. Our lives become a constant struggle between these two identities. Mamakar trying to become Ahamkar is our life. That's all. Dharma is a state of pure inner space where the conflict between Ahamkar and Mamakar does not exist. When we live in dharma, our lives are different. Krishna's whole life was a pure romance with existence. Even in the midst of war, He was in pure romance because He was established in dharma. Management cannot be taught, but it can be learned. Krishna's way of management can never be taught, but we can fake it and make it. We can fake a few expressions and gradually make them our experience.
Krishna's life and teachings have multiple layers. From which layer you start seeing, you connect, understand, and relate. I'll share the basic truth, the innerspace of Krishna. Establish yourself in dharma, the conflict-free inner space. Release the illusory identities of Ahamkar and Mamakar. We often create a painshaft by continuously reinforcing our beliefs about suffering. We wait for painful experiences and cherish our painful memories. Positive thinking is not encouraged in Krishna's teachings. There is no such thing as positive and negative thinking. Either you are in a conflict-free inner space or in confusion. Positive thinking, like the whole idea of thinking, is wasteful. Dale Carnegie's books teach positive thinking, but Krishna's teachings do not acknowledge it. The science of Enlightened management cannot be taught, but it can be learned. By connecting with Krishna's expressions, even faking it in the beginning, we can make it our experience.
In this video , Swamiji answers the questions and explains how to live conflict free life with krishna's behaviour. Spiritual awakening is activating the non mechanic parts of the brain Behave like Krishna and be conflict free
