Today’s (March 1, 2015) morning Satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda describes how having spiritual experiences at a young age are stored in a child’s biomemory. Sharing examples from his own life, he correlates them to how the Nithyananda Gurukul kids have experientially cognized his teachings, making them part of their biomemory. With his teachings as a foundation and solutions for life, they will be able to achieve anything and be leaders in any field they choose. How to Keep the Master’s Teachings Alive? | Nithyananda Satsang | 01 Mar 2015

Today’s (27th February, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. Isha Upanishad–Verse 4: anejad-ekaṁ manaso jivīyo nainad-devā āpnuvan pūrvamarṣat | tad-dhāvato’ nyān atyeti tiṣṭhat tasminn apo mātariśvā dadhāti || 4 || In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Paramahamsa Nithyananda expresses the deeper meanings of this Sutra. Mātariśvā is the life energy that moves and expands itself, supporting all of life’s activities. This life energy never dies; our immortality only moves and expands itself, having no death! Contemplating that which is unborn and is never going to die in us will lead us to the Truth. February 26, 2015 Today’s (26th February, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. Isha Upanishad–Verse 4: anejad-ekaṁ manaso jivīyo nainad-devā āpnuvan pūrvamarṣat | tad-dhāvato’ nyān atyeti tiṣṭhat tasminn apo mātariśvā dadhāti || 4 || In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Paramahamsa Nithyananda reveals how the mind cannot move towards the source by the force of hard power, which only suppresses and depresses. Using soft power helps us set the right context for our life so we can understand what is the goal, the path and the purpose. Cognizing each word of Verse 4 puts us into meditation, setting the context for our mind, leading us to the Source. February 25, 2015 Today’s (25th February, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. Isha Upanishad–Verse 4: anejad-ekaṁ manaso jivīyo nainad-devā āpnuvan pūrvamarṣat | tad-dhāvato’ nyān atyeti tiṣṭhat tasminn apo mātariśvā dadhāti || 4 || In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Paramahamsa Nithyananda describes how Verse 4 is the step-by-step instruction to reach Isha – pure consciousness. There is a big difference between grasping and grabbing. The mind is always unsettled, moving and trying to grab and possesses things, even existence itself. Existence can never be experienced through grabbing. Contemplating what is unmoving, not of the mind, will help us whittle down the answers, reaching the Truth. February 24, 2015 Today’s (24th February, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. Isha Upanishad–Verse 4 begins: anejad-ekaṁ manaso jivīyo nainad-devā āpnuvan pūrvamarṣat | tad-dhāvato’ nyān atyeti tiṣṭhat tasminn apo mātariśvā dadhāti || 4 || In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Paramahamsa Nithyananda describes how Verse 4 is a technique for us to align ourselves to the right context. The Vedic tradition puts the context first; how else can we recognize consciousness or the Divine inside of us? When something beyond our comprehension is described, we need to be given a description to meditate upon so that we have a scale to measure our experiences. All our fears are nothing but the decision to say “no” to life. Making the conscious decision to say “yes” to life awakens all other energies within us that are associated with life. February 22, 2015 Today’s (22nd February, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. Isha Upanishad–Verse 3 begins: asuryā nāme te lokā andhena tamasā’vṛtāḥ | tāṁs te pretyābhigacchanti ye ke cātma-hano janāḥ || 3 || In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Paramahamsa Nithyananda advises that following bad people is a huge blunder in our lives and can cause us to miss the Guru, even after 100s of janmas of tapas. Continuously check if you are with people who are saying yes to life; for even just being in the company of good people, we can become enlightened! Watch, Share and Subscribe to our channel to be notified of the next upload click http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=lifeblissfoundation to subscribe. visit: http://www.nithyananda.org http://www.nithyananda.tv http://www.innerawakening.org https://www.youtube.com/user/LifeBlissFoundation https://twitter.com/SriNithyananda https://www.facebook.com/ParamahamsaNithyananda https://plus.google.com/104086565286265959836/posts TRANSCRIPTS:- Let us enter into third verse of Ishavasya Upanishad. I will continue to expand on it, because so many questions need to be answered, so many answers need to be questioned. असुर्या नाम ते लोका अन्धेन तमसाऽऽवृताः । ताँस्ते प्रेत्याभिगच्छन्ति ये के चात्महनो जनाः ॥ Asurya naama they lokaa andhena thamasaavruthaah | Thaagumsthey prethyabhigachchanthi ye ke chaathmahano janaah || Listen! “Athmahana”, saying “NO” to life, leads to the lower levels of existence, “Dussangha”, company of the lower level people. I tell you, that is the hell! That is the hell! Company of the lower level people, because, they will somehow brainwash you to get into their space, and they will make you do what they want you to do. Finally, they will put you in trouble; then they will escape; because they are very shrewd. They will escape so that they will go and haunt the other person. One fellow, very popular preacher of suicide theology, he will preach, teach, literally mesmerize, hypnotise everyone to commit suicide, and lot of people have started committing suicide. Teaching death is very easy. That is why all death-based concepts spread like a wildfire. All the death-based religions, concepts, killing yourself and killing others, they spread like a wildfire. But the life-based religions, concepts, take lot of time. The best life-based religion in toto, hundred percent, is Jainism. The pure, life-based religion, Ahimsa and life, saying “YES” to life! But how much struggle that religion has to go through to spread! Actually, there are no followers; literally there are no followers of Jainism. That is the truth. Except a handful of monks, a few people! Because, it is life-based, doesn’t spread that wildly. But all death-based concepts, they just spread like wildfire! Please understand, billions of animals are killed every year for our food. Still I can’t imagine how will you kill somebody for your snack?! How will you kill somebody for your snack?!! It takes a lot of time to accept life-based truths, understandings. It is very easy to receive and teach, spread death-based ideas and concepts, because, it is all agitating. Agitation is misunderstood as excitement. This suicide theology fellow, he spreads so much, and people commit suicide! Somebody asked, ‘Why are YOU not committing suicide? You are teaching to so many people!’ He said, ‘No, if I die, then who will teach this idea and make more and more people commit suicide?’ Dussangha! Understand, biggest warning this Upanishad is giving is “Dussangha”, the “wrong company”. असुर्या नाम ते लोका अन्धेन तमसाऽऽवृताः । ताँस्ते प्रेत्याभिगच्छन्ति ये के चात्महनो जनाः ॥ Asurya naama they lokaa andhena thamasaavruthaah | Thaagumsthey prethyabhigachchanthi ye ke chaathmahano janaah || Lower-grade worlds, abodes of demonic people, “asurya”, asuras, understand? Once, when I was in Ramakrishna Mission, I met a very senior sadhu, a great “thapasvi”. His name is Nandananda, Swami Nandanandaji. Great “thapasvi”! Very rarely I have seen “thapasvi” of his calibre! Actually, he has a little difficulty in hearing; not a little, lot of difficulty. Literally he can’t hear! But he is such a beautiful, innocent being, he is almost like a deaf grand-father of the whole family! If there is a deaf grand-father in the family, how these grand-kids will tease him and play around him and go near him, shout, scream, and make fun. Say Yes to The Company of Good People | Nithyananda Satsang | 22 Feb 2015

Today’s (21st February, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. Isha Upanishad–Verse 3 begins: asuryā nāme te lokā andhena tamasā’vṛtāḥ | tāṁs te pretyābhigacchanti ye ke cātma-hano janāḥ || 3 || In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Paramahamsa Nithyananda reveals the simple Truths from the Cosmos of what is good or bad, right or wrong, high or low, and so on. The answer revealed can be used to answer all our questions in life. When life or our own inner self teaches us new lessons and our aspirations get mature, using our powerfulness will expand and move us to even higher aspirations. Please listen! No one is good, no one is bad. If somebody does the actions which fulfil your ambitions, you call them as “good”. If somebody does actions which are not fulfilling your ambitions, you call them “bad”. No one is right, no one is wrong. No one is good, no one is bad. Deciding somebody is good or bad, right or wrong, is purely dependent on how much they are supporting your ambition. So, what Cosmos answers, what is the answer of Cosmos for this issue? The Upanishads, please understand, Upanishads are Dharma declaring its authority and authenticity by itself. No human-being is involved in it. No human vested interests are involved in it. No! Here, no Prophet, no Messenger, no Son of God, not even God, is involved, understand? Hindu Tradition is so bold, God has only second place! The Dharma, Upanishads, stand taller than the concept of God, understand? It stands taller than the concept of God! What is the opinion of Cosmos? What is the opinion of Universe? How does the universal intelligence address this problem of high and low, right-wrong, good-bad? Because, our perceptions of good and bad, right and wrong, is far away from the fact or the truth; forget about reality. What is the Cosmos’ opinion about who is good, who is bad, who is becoming more and more good, who is becoming more and more bad, who is doing more and more right, who is doing more and more wrong, what is right, what is wrong, who is right, who is wrong, who is good, who is bad? Because, Upanishads have to declare this to the universe, they have to declare, they have to reveal this to the universe. We have not even attributed Upanishads to gods, or even “The” God. No! We wanted to retain the authority and authenticity as it is. We left it as “apourushya”, as it was done, revealed, understand? Our rishis don’t even want to attribute these Upanishads to any gods, goddesses, “The” God. No! They said, ‘It is the Cosmos declaring its authenticity and authority to itself.’ So, what Upanishads want to say about good and bad, right and wrong, high and low, in these last three verses Upanishads are declaring beautifully the whole science of life, almost all the questions of good and bad, right, wrong, who is higher, who is lower, why somebody is enjoying, somebody is suffering. Everything is clarified, understand? Upanishads don’t answer question by question. They just bombard the questioner! Upanishads, if they answer hundred of your questions, they will make you question millions of your answers! You questioning many of your answers using these sutras is what I call “internalizing”, “manana”; means, you questioning many of your answers using the truths of Upanishads, revelations of Upanishads. I wanted the Bidadi Nithyanandeshwara Temple to be a golden temple mainly to engrave this whole Upanishads in golden letters. And, all the 108 Upanishads will be engraved in stone in golden letters in Bidadi. It is the Cosmos declaring its authority, Cosmos revealing its authority and authenticity. Here, Upanishads declare right and wrong, good and bad, reveal the sacred truths about right, wrong, good, bad, to the universe. February 20, 2015 Today’s (20th February, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. Isha Upanishad–Verse 3 begins: asuryā nāme te lokā andhena tamasā’vṛtāḥ | tāṁs te pretyābhigacchanti ye ke cātma-hano janāḥ || 3 || In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Paramahamsa Nithyananda explains how life gives us what we asked for. When we look in and learn the context for why we asked for something in our lives, we can evolve. Whatever is happening now is because we craved for this one day in the past. Life is painted on the canvas of Tathastu – so be it! The celebration of life is completion; then we are qualified to make updated aspirations into a reality. Life Gives What You Asked For | Nithyananda Satsang | 20 Feb 2015

February 19, 2015 Today’s (19th February, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. Isha Upanishad–Verse 3 begins: asuryā nāme te lokā andhena tamasā’vṛtāḥ | tāṁs te pretyābhigacchanti ye ke cātma-hano janāḥ || 3 || In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Paramahamsa Nithyananda describes the dangers of continuously saying “No” to life. Saying “No” to life kills our atman or soul! We can combat negative qualities and patterns that drag us down, making our lives hell, by wielding the weapon of patience. Having tremendous patience with ourselves and others, moves us away from anger and violence into the space of Living, saying “Yes” to life. Watch, Share and Subscribe to our channel to be notified of the next upload click http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=lifeblissfoundation to subscribe. visit: http://www.nithyananda.org http://www.nithyananda.tv http://www.innerawakening.org https://www.youtube.com/user/LifeBlissFoundation https://twitter.com/SriNithyananda https://www.facebook.com/ParamahamsaNithyananda https://plus.google.com/104086565286265959836/posts TRANSCRIPTS:- I will enter into the third verse of Ishavasya Upanishad. Please chant along with me: असुर्या नाम ते लोका अन्धेन तमसाऽऽवृताः । ताँस्ते प्रेत्याभिगच्छन्ति ये के चात्महनो जनाः ॥ Asurya naama they lokaa andhena thamasaavruthaah | Thaamsthey prethyabhigachchanthi ye ke chaathmahano janaah || The translation: ‘The various abodes of the Asuras, the lower level existence, are in the form of inferior or lower grade worlds, which are like hells coerced by darkness, representing all the negative qualities, collectively called “thamas”. Those who literally kill the Athma become ghosts who inhabit such horrible abodes, and, this, they continue to do repeatedly.’ Listen! People who say “YES” to life, what will happen to them was described in the last verses. Now, people who say “NO” to life, what will happen to them is getting described. Listen! Whenever you entertain “NO” to life, first, always, “NO” is entertained as frustration. Then it evolves as anger, violence, self-doubt, self-hatred, self-denial; all this is various expressions. But, it starts as frustration. So, I tell you, one of the important qualities to say “YES” to life is tremendous patience. Listen! Tremendous patience! YES! YES! YES! Every time YES! After every time, YES! Listen! Every time, when what you want does not happen, don’t say “NO”; end in “YES”. I am not saying accept. No! I will give you an example: If something does not happen the way I want in our Sangha, I don’t accept and keep quiet. But I don’t allow frustration. I will do whatever needs to be done, and, end, I will say, ‘Alright! Yes!’ Next, I will be again prepared with all the patience to move further, to do things further. My disciples’ ignorance never made me reduce my plans, understand? The people with whom you are living – first you, and everyone else around you – their ignorance or inability should not give you frustration, should not make you say “NO” to you. Listen! The moment you accept “NO, the moment you say “NO” to expansion, you have started saying “NO” to you! असुर्या नाम ते लोका अन्धेन तमसाऽऽवृताः । ताँस्ते प्रेत्याभिगच्छन्ति ये के चात्महनो जनाः ॥ Asurya naama they lokaa andhena thamasaavruthaah | Thaagumsthey prethyabhigachchanthi ye ke chaathmahano janaah || The second line of the verse should not be chanted as “Thaasthey” (तास्ते). That is “paatta bhedha”. I heard, learnt, I heard from my acharyas as “Thaagumsthey”. Even though the verse says just “Thaasthey” (तास्ते). “Thaagumsthey”. Half “gum”. Silent “gum”. Thaagumsthey prethyabhigachchanthi ye ke chaathmahano janaah. Listen! Saying “NO” to you is the worst sin. I have given you one example that “inability and ignorance of you and the people living around you cannot reduce your creativity or plans to express your peak possibility”. This is one definition. And multiple, I can give you multiple explanations, multiple understandings from various fronts. Like, for example, your body gives pain at some parts of your body – headache or stomach pain. Only Ghosts Say No to Life | Nithyananda Satsang | 19 Feb 2015

Special Maha Shivaratri Satsang of Paramahamsa Nithyananda delivered on 17th February, 2015 Maha Shivaratri Message In Brief Bidadi, 17 February 2015 Shivoham! Whatever you assume as you - aham . Whatever you perceive as you - aham. THAT decides your desires, your goals, your fears, your excitement, your passion, your intensity. EVERYTHING is decided by what you perceive as aham - I. Understand, what you perceive as I, if that itself is a delusion, everything will be a delusion and you will feel cheated by you. YOU feeling cheated by you is the worst suffering that you can experience in life. Whatever you perceive as aham other than Shivoham is delusion. Waking up from that delusion is possible this night. Every dream - unconscious, subconscious, lucid, whatever - weakens you. Weakens your consciousness. Master is also a dream. But he is a dream who wakes you up. Even amidst your delusion, if you meet the master you will wake up! This night is the time to wake up! You spent all your nights in dreaming and sleeping. But this night is not for dreaming or sleeping. This night is for you to wake up from ALL the dreams. Let Mahadeva lead everyone into awakening. Shiva! Shiva! Shiva! Let the whole universe experience Mahadeva! Experience Shivoham! Experience Kundalini Awakening! Maha Shivaratri Special Satsang - 17th February, 2015

Today’s (12th February, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. Isha Upanishad–Verse 2 kurvann eveha karmāṇi jijīviṣec chataṁ samāḥ| evaṁ tvayi nānyatheto ‘sti na karma lipyate nare || 2 || In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Paramahamsa Nithyananda describes the major differences between soft power and hard power or spiritual power and political power. By understanding these two, greater insights into society and life are gained. Living and commanding our lives with soft power, erases our karmas; it is about deciding for life - inspiring, liberating and enlightening. Ishavasya Upanishad, the second verse: कुर्वन्नेवेह कर्माणि जिजीविषेच्छत्ग्ण् समाः | एवं त्वयि नान्यथेतोऽस्ति न कर्म लिप्यते नरे ॥ kurvanneveha karmaaNi jijeeviShechChathgN^ samaaH | evaM thvayi naanyaThethoaAsthi na karma lipyathe nare || “One should desire to live in this world for hundreds of years, all the while doing his deeds dispassionately as sanctioned by the scriptures. In this way, the deeds done by you shall not cling to you. There is no other way by which a man can free himself from the bondage created by the deeds.” Listen! Let me explain what is “Karma”. “Karma” is the bondage created in you by your commission or omission of certain acts which is incomplete with your own cognition about life. Listen! If you think money is life, some of the acts you did which didn’t bring money to you, or some of the acts you did not do, again which deprived you from money, commission or omission of certain acts which is incomplete with your concept of life, is “Karma”. And, any commission or omission of the acts which is in sync and complete with your concept of life does not bring you any Karma. It does not bring you any incompletion. Commission or omission of acts which brings incompletion with your concept of life is “Karma”. Now, how will you liberate yourself from this Karma, free yourself from this Karma? I tell you, when you decide FOR life, when your core decides FOR life, automatically your laziness disappears, your boredom disappears. Again and again and again, tirelessly standing up, tirelessly standing up, listen, tirelessly standing up! Listen, tirelessly standing up again and again! कुर्वन्नेवेह कर्माणि जिजीविषेच्छत्ग्ण् समाः | kurvanneveha karmaaNi jijeeviShechChathgN^ samaaH | Deciding to live, again and again, tirelessly standing up, again and again, naturally aligns all your acts into the concept of life you carry. So, all your commission and omission of the acts align themselves to the idea of life you have....to the idea of life you have. So, your commission and omission of acts become complete with the idea of life you have. That’s all! Actually, only this one line can solve the issue, the problem, question people have: ‘Why the bad people are so rich, good people are so poor, bad people are so healthy, good people are having disease? Listen! Listen! Whether you are good or bad is going to be decided based on whether your acts are complete with your concept of life. Understand, if your concept of life is all about pleasure and money, and your acts are complete with it, you will have that. That’s all! There is nobody to judge whether money is the ultimate purpose of life. Forget about that! God is not a judge, please understand. He only sees the kind of Completion you are carrying. And, ultimately, he does not even see that. It is an automated mechanism as far as the functioning goes on. So, listen, “if he wants he can interfere” does not mean he goes on interfering. No! So, be very clear, God is not sitting and doing some judgement, passing some judgements about you every day – ‘Oh, this fellow, all the time running behind money! Let me punish him!’ No! In course of time, whenever you are deciding constantly FOR LIFE, you yourself may realize there is something more prior, you should give more priority, more importance, than money. You may evolve. Life Runs by Inspiration | Nithyananda Satsang | 12 Feb 2015

Today’s (10th February, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. Isha Upanishad–Verse 2 kurvann eveha karmāṇi jijīviṣec chataṁ samāḥ| evaṁ tvayi nānyatheto ‘sti na karma lipyate nare || 2 || In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Paramahamsa Nithyananda expands on the second verse explaining how we can clear our karma by deciding for life. Karma is the decision against life, harassing us and putting us into incompletion. When we decide for live, all karmas, fears and negativity will clear. To be liberated form the bondage created by our deeds, there is no other way but to decide for life! The second verse of Ishavasya Upanishad: कुर्वन्नेवेह कर्माणि जिजीविषेच्छत्ग्ण् समाः | एवं त्वयि नान्यथेतोऽस्ति न कर्म लिप्यते नरे ॥ kurvanneveha karmaaNi jijeeviShechChathgN^ samaaH | evaM thvayi naanyaThethoaAsthi na karma lipyathe nare || “One should decide to live in this world for a hundred years, hundreds of years, all the while doing his deeds dispassionately as sanctioned by the scriptures. In this way, the deeds done by you shall not cling to you. There is no other way by which a man can free himself from the bondage created by the deeds.” Listen! Just in the last few days, one of our devotees, a doctor, she asked me a question: ‘How to practically combine all these, Swamiji? We all know the truth. We understand that everything changes, including what we perceive, and even what we don’t perceive. How can we co-exist in Advaitha with our fellow beings, even if, either one of us, myself or others, do not accept the change as something necessary and good for all of us?’ This was the question. Actually, the second line of the second verse is the answer. Understand: एवं त्वयि नान्यथेतोऽस्ति न कर्म लिप्यते नरे ॥ evaM thvayi naanyaThethoaAsthi na karma lipyathe nare || When you decide to LIVE, when you decide FOR LIFE based on the understanding “everything is Consciousness”..... See, I will just give you a few types of mental setups: (MENTAL SETUP 1 – DECIDING AGAINST LIFE BECAUSE OF A FEW FAILURES, A FEW SMALL INCIDENTS): Some people decide AGAINST LIFE. Seeing the SUFFERING IN LIFE and by BECOMING POWERLESS TO FACE LIFE, they decide AGAINST LIFE, I tell you. I can give you an example: At the age of six, when you are in school, your teacher asks some question – ‘Who is the first Prime Minister of India?’ You put your hands up and jump and shout, ‘Mahatma Gandhi”. The whole class will be laughing at you. And, at that time, you feel naturally, ‘Oh, I have done some something wrong. I should not be putting up my hand and jumping like this. I should keep quiet in a crowd.’ This decision, even after you become forty-seven, when you are sitting in a meeting, you are the CEO, even then, if you have an idea, you won’t speak out directly in the group, you will tell somebody else, and that person will tell the group, and he will get the name. You decide for your whole future based on one incident! Look in. Thousands of decisions you have done, based on one incident, AGAINST LIFE. The other day, I was talking to a devotee. I was telling him, ‘Hey, always remember you are Mahadeva, Shiva, and move the happenings of your life with this understanding.’ He said, ‘No, Swamiji. I just have blood-pressure and sugar (diabetes). I tell myself, “I am Mahadeva! Let this blood-pressure and sugar be healed!” When that doesn’t heal, I lose confidence that I can change the other things.’ Listen! This blood-pressure and sugar, you would have taken so many thousands of decisions AGAINST LIFE; that is why it came. So, now, when you decide FOR LIFE, decide at least a few times till that whole part starts listening to you. See, your decisions AGAINST LIFE has become a big chunk in you. You may not need to kill all of them, but you need to create the decision FOR LIFE at least to drive them enough! See, each time, your decision AGAINST LIFE becomes one soldier against you. Deciding for Life Clears All Karma | Nithyananda Satsang | 10 Feb 2015

Today’s (8th February, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. Isha Upanishad–Verse 2 kurvann eveha karmāṇi jijīviṣec chataṁ samāḥ| evaṁ tvayi nānyatheto ‘sti na karma lipyate nare || 2 || In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Paramahamsa Nithyananda expands on the second verse: Saying “Yes” to life is not just breathing and thinking but deciding to live, taking responsibility for whatever we believe is life. When we internalize this verse, we can walk out of any disease. The second verse of Ishavasya Upanishad: कुर्वन्नेवेह कर्माणि जिजीविषेच्छत्ग्ण् समाः | एवं त्वयि नान्यथेतोऽस्ति न कर्म लिप्यते नरे ॥ kurvanneveha karmaaNi jijeeviShechChathgN^ samaaH | evaM thvayi naanyaThethoaAsthi na karma lipyathe nare || Listen! “One should decide to live in this world for hundreds of years, all the while doing his deeds dispassionately as sanctioned by the scriptures. In this way, the deeds done by you shall not cling to you. There is no other way by which a man can free himself from the bondage created by the deeds.” Listen! The first thing the Upanishads declare: DECIDE TO LIVE! I was expanding on this from yesterday. Decision to LIVE! Please listen! It is not as simple as you think; it is really deep, really deep. Every step of life, don’t give up! Go on deciding to LIVE, deciding to LIVE, deciding to LIVE! In every opportunity, open to live....open to live. I will give you one small example The moment I read the Kaamika Aagamaa..... The Aagama says, during the puja to Mahadeva, Shiva, all the three “gaana” should be there: Mantra Gaana, Veena Gaana, Veda Adhyaayana. Mantra Gaana, means, the mantras chanted during puja; and the Veena Gaana; and the Veda Adhyaayana, Vedic chanting. The moment I read that, immediate next step is: ‘Oh, in these three, only Veena Gaana I do not know myself. Get me a Veena; I want to learn.’ That’s all! That’s all is the next step I took. I asked my Mahant who assists me; I called him and said, ‘Hey, get me a Veena!’ And, I said, ‘Organize a teacher for me!’ Constantly opening for life! I tell you, you are living as long as you are opening yourself for life. When I say “life”, I don’t mean just learning new things. If you think wealth is life, you should be constantly opening up for wealth and taking responsibility for it till the end of your time, your so-called “end of time”. Listen! If you think power is your life, you should be constantly opening up to power till the end of your so-called life. In every step, whatever you believe as life, opening yourself for that constantly is “saying YES to life”. Listen! “One should decide to live hundreds of years” does not mean you just decide to breathe, inhale and exhale, for hundreds of years. No! Whatever you believe as life, opening up for that! I am very clear, till the last moment of my life, 127th birthday, may be, by 11, 11:30, noon, I may leave the body in the public stage. Till then I will be giving my satsangh. That day morning there will be satsangh, and there will be Kalpataru Darshan, there will be Sannyas initiation, and, after that, I will leave the body. Means, not that I am going to become non-functioning, I will not be functioning using just this body. So, be very clear, what you decide as life, being available for that, and saying “YES” to that constantly is “kurvanneveha karmaaNi jijeeviShechChathgN^ samaaH” (कुर्वन्नेवेह कर्माणि जिजीविषेच्छत्ग्ण् समाः)! If you think, money is life, even the last moment of your life you should be saying “YES” to it. If you think power is life, even the last moment of your life you should be saying “YES” to it and making decisions for it. If you think enlightenment is life, you should be saying “YES” to it even the last moment of your life. In my life, I am very clear, living Advaitha and enriching the whole world with the spiritual truth is my life. So, I am saying “YES” to this till the end of my so-called life. Manual for Living - Say Yes to Life | Nithyananda Satsang | 08 Feb 2018

Today’s (7th February, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita by Paramahamsa Nithyananda Isha Upanishad–Verse 2 kurvann eveha karmāṇi jijīviṣec chataṁ samāḥ| evaṁ tvayi nānyatheto ‘sti na karma lipyate nare || 2 || In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Verse 2, Paramahamsa Nithyananda summarizes the meaning in this verse: “Always decide for life! Your cognition should decide to live!” Our decision against life is SDHD (self-doubt, self-hatred and self-denial). All decisions against life are rooted in fear and the wrong belief that we will not be able to live. Let us not allow anti-life decisions inside us; no situation can make us powerless. Please chant along with me: कुर्वन्नेवेह कर्माणि जिजीविषेच्छत्ग्ण् समाः | एवं त्वयि नान्यथेतोऽस्ति न कर्म लिप्यते नरे ॥ kurvanneveha karmaaNi jijeeviShechChathgN^ samaaH | evaM thvayi naanyaThethoaAsthi na karma lipyathe nare || Listen to the translation: “One should desire to live in this world for hundreds of years, all the while doing his deeds dispassionately as sanctioned by the scriptures, and treating them as his offerings to Eshwara, the quintessential Supreme Lord, the Lord of the whole Creation. In this way, the deeds done by you shall not cling to you, the deeds will not cause their good or bad effects upon the doer of those deeds, simply because they are being done with the doer mentally convinced that he has not done them, he is not intellectually and mentally committed to these deeds, or they are done without his claiming any rights over the fruits of those deeds. There is no other way by which a man can free himself from the bondage created by the deeds.” I will give you the translations of some of the scholars, and then give you my translation, and, of course, above all, the interception from the Upanishadic rishis. Please understand, exactly this verse means: You should LIVE! Your cognition should decide to LIVE! Understand? One of the biggest problems all human-beings have, please listen, whether you don’t have money, enough money in your bank, or you don’t have enough excitement, inspiration to run your life, whether you don’t have enough money to run your life in the outside world, or you don’t have enough energy to run your body, you don’t have enough energy to run your mind, whatever you don’t have, please be very clear, it is side-effect of some of your decisions NOT TO LIVE. Always support life. You decide at some points, ‘Better not to live. Instead of living this kind of a life, better not to live.’ Please understand, you should always think, ‘I will live in a better way. Wherever I need to transform, no question of “better not to live than living in this way”.’ Whether your body does not have energy to get up, or your mind does not have enough excitement, whatever you may think you lack is nothing but the side-effect of the decisions you did in your past AGAINST LIFE. So, through this verse, Upanishad declares: Always, always, decide FOR LIFE! Listen! कुर्वन्नेवेह कर्माणि जिजीविषेच्छत्ग्ण् समाः | kurvanneveha karmaaNi jijeeviShechChathgN^ samaaH | कुर्वन्नेवेह कर्माणि जिजीविषेच्छत्ग्ण् समाः | kurvanneveha karmaaNi jijeeviShechChathgN^ samaaH | Always, always, always, at any moment, decide FOR LIFE! Your decision against life is SDHD – Self-Doubt, Self-Hatred, Self-Denial. All your tiredness, physical tiredness, mental boredom.... Actually, physically when you feel bored, that comes as tiredness; mentally when you feel tired, that comes as boredom. And, all pain is suppressed anger! Understand, whenever you become angry, you become violent and decide against life. Whenever you choose “FOR LIFE”, your anger melts down into love and compassion. Any decision, please understand, even people who attack you, who cherish enmity towards you, you should never decide against their life; never decide they should die or they should suffer. Isha Upanishad–Verse 2 kurvann eveha karmāṇi jijīviṣec chataṁ samāḥ| evaṁ tvayi nānyatheto ‘sti na karma lipyate nare || 2 || In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Paramahamsa Nithyananda begins the second Verse and declares: Upanishads is THE principle book for Hinduism, our Sangha and the whole of humanity. And the ultimate, lifestyle book, that was delivered by Mahadeva to Parvati, is the Kamika Agama. He sums up the Vedic Tradition in just one word and that is Live! This verse is the essence of Vedic Tradition. Again and again and again insists, Vedic Tradition is all FOR LIFE! If I have to put the whole Vedic Tradition in one word: LIVE! That’s all! LIVE! Live so powerfully, so clearly, that all your patterns, engrams, fears, don’t find any place; you are just radiating; you are just overflowing. LIVE! LIVE! LIVE! कुर्वन्नेवेह कर्माणि जिजीविषेच्छत्ग्ण् समाः | एवं त्वयि नान्यथेतोऽस्ति न कर्म लिप्यते नरे ॥ kurvanneveha karmaaNi jijeeviShechChathgN^ samaaH | evaM thvayi naanyaThethoaAsthi na karma lipyathe nare || This verse is actually a “blessing”. See, the Upanishadic rishis expect you to achieve everything just by the first verse: ईशावास्यमिदं सर्वं यत्किञ्च जगत्यां जगत् । तेन त्यक्तेन भुञ्जीथा मा गृधः कस्यस्विद्धनम् ॥ 1 ॥ Eeshaavaasyamidham Sarvam Yathkincha Jagathyaam Jagath | Thena Thyakthena Bhunjeethaa Maa Gridhah Kasyasviddhanam || Over! They don’t expect you to have any doubt. The kind of a space they are carrying, rishis feel with this verse you are enlightened! Now you just need a blessing. A disciple who is enlightened needs the blessing from the guru. Actually, this verse – कुर्वन्नेवेह कर्माणि जिजीविषेच्छत्ग्ण् समाः | एवं त्वयि नान्यथेतोऽस्ति न कर्म लिप्यते नरे ॥ kurvanneveha karmaaNi jijeeviShechChathgN^ samaaH | evaM thvayi naanyaThethoaAsthi na karma lipyathe nare || this verse is a “blessing”. Somebody was telling me the other day..... One Swami came and met me. That Swami was telling me, he heard some of the great scholars, pundits, telling him....it seems they asked this Swami who came to meet me, ‘What right this Nithyananda has to comment on Upanishads? Where has he studied Sanskrit Who is his guru teaching all the bhaashyaas? Who taught all the bhaashyaas?’, all these scholarly questions! Scholarly questions! This Swami, it seems, asked only one question, ‘I am also seeing his satsangh. You are also seeing his satsangh. Come on, let us have an open discussion. Tell me honestly, all his words, does it make sense or not?’ It seems, that pundit who was questioning, he put his head down and, ‘It make sense, no doubt. But, how can he speak? Who taught him? There should be a parampara! There should be! He does not have any guru who taught him different bhaashyaas, commentaries, vaarthikaas, teekaas. Then how can he comment on Upanishads?’ To that Swami, I gave only one answer: ‘Yes, I have not formally studied. The gurus who taught me don’t even know how to chant the mantras with the so-called perfection. And they were not Sanskrit scholars. They taught me a little bit whatever they can. February 3, 2015 Today’s (3rd February, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. Isha Upanishad–Verse 1 īśāvāsyam idaṁ sarvaṁ yat kiñca jagatyāṁ jagat | tena tyaktena bhuñjīthā mā gṛdhaḥ kasya svid-dhanam || In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Verse 1, Paramahamsa Nithyananda revels that Life is here to celebrate itself through us. All we need to do is get out of the pattern that says, “am I qualified for these things”? We are qualified for everything that we currently have or want to have. Everything that happens is from pure consciousness, giving us the opportunity to either reinvent ourselves or allow Life to celebrate through us! Please understand, chanting is done basically to retain the “paatta bhedha” tradition. Means, each guru, when they orally transmit these Upanishad mantras, they will have their own accent. That accent differences are only called “paatta bhedha”. To retain the “paatta bhedha” only, chanting is done. Listen! Today I will expand on the last part of this sutra: ईशावास्यमिदं सर्वं यत्किञ्च जगत्यां जगत् । तेन त्यक्तेन भुञ्जीथा मा गृधः कस्यस्विद्धनम् ॥ Eeshaavaasyamidham Sarvam Yathkincha Jagathyaam Jagath | Thena Thyakthena Bhunjeethaa Maa Gridhah Kasyasviddhanam || Whatever is, which is changing and established in changing, is filled by Consciousness, Pure Consciousness. Listen! Whenever change is happening outside you, inside you, don’t feel life is sadistic, it is punishing you, it is taking away something which you really like or with which you settled down just now. Ability to understand that every change is a possibility for you to reinvent yourself, is “Renunciation”, understand? “Raaga” means: “Obsession”, “Attachment”. “Araaga” means: “Detachment”, “Dead”. “Viraaga” means: Understanding that the change is established in change, and that is filled with Consciousness. Every change is done with tremendous compassion, and, consciously. Please understand, no change is an accident. Constantly looking at life as an accident is the attitude of atheists. Understanding, whether the way it happens, or the way you perceive, is a “conscious happening”, is “Living Advaitha”. The way it is happening outside, the way you perceive inside, both, if you think it is accident, you are “Atheist”. If you understand it is “conscious happening”, you are “Living Advaitha”. Whether something happening outside, or something perceived inside, look in. Look in, how many times you cursed life and what kind of idea you have about life and others. If you think life and others are cruel, constantly exploiting, demanding, non-caring, non-supportive, whatever, whatever, then be very clear, you ARE “Atheist”. You ARE “Atheist”! Don’t think Atheism or Theism is dependent on whether you believe god exists in the form of deity or not. Atheism or Theism is dependent on whether you understand god exists as everything or not! As long as you cognize – “Why me?”, “Why me?”, “Why me?”, and that life is taking away the things which you really enjoy, life is sadistic – be very clear, all the happenings of your life you look at it as accident. But, the change established in change – if I have to use a little better word: “change²”..... Actually, why Upanishads are using the word “Jagathyaam Jagath” (जगत्यां जगत्) – “change established on change” – why you know? Because, even your perception, “it is all changing”, will change! Even your perception that things are changing, will change! Even that is not complete perception. If you ask me, ‘Then complete perception, there is no change, Swamiji?’ LINK FOR FULL TRANSCRIPTS:- http://www.nithyananda.org/video/life-here-celebrate-through-you#gsc.tab=0 Paramashivoham: 22-day Ultimate Spiritual Journey with the Avatar HDH Nithyananda Paramashivam Learn more: https://paramashivoham.nithyananda.org

Life is Here to Celebrate Through You | Nithyananda Satsang | 03 Feb 2015

Today’s (1st February, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. Isha Upanishad–Verse 1 īśāvāsyam idaṁ sarvaṁ yat kiñca jagatyāṁ jagat | tena tyaktena bhuñjīthā mā gṛdhaḥ kasya svid-dhanam || In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Verse 1, Paramahamsa Nithyananda delivers the next sacred secret of this verse: Whatever we hold onto, having fear of losing it, life will take exactly that away from us. Anything we want to retain in our lives, we just need to renounce the fear of losing it. Anything that creates powerlessness in our inner space will be taken away just to make us understand that we can live without that and we are powerful beings. Listen! Listen to these four words. · PERCEPTION: Within the limitations of Time and Space, your senses operating. Perception. · FACT: With a larger amount of Time and Space, your Perception coming to certain understanding is FACT. · TRUTH: Time and Space changing the way you perceive, and both of them come to Completion where your perception’s hindrance does not stop the reality being perceived because of the larger amount of Time and Space perceived. I know it is going above the head. Let me give you examples; then you will understand. · The REALITY, the fourth word: Without the limitations of the perception and Time and Space, whatever is, is REALITY. I have given the example: · PERCEPTION is: Earth is flat, and Sun is going around the Earth. · FACT is: Earth is round, and Earth is going around the Sun. · TRUTH is: Earth is not exactly round; it more or less resembles Orange fruit. And Sun is going around the Earth. Please listen! I have explained that day, because the whole Solar System is not stagnant, even the whole Solar System is moving around centred on something else. Sun goes around the Earth in billions of years. Earth goes around the Sun every one year. Sun goes around the Earth in a few billion years. That is TRUTH. REALITY is: Earth has no defined shape. And, Earth and Sun both go around each other, because, every billion year Sun goes around the Earth, every year Earth goes around the Sun. The Reality cannot be half – just Earth going around the Sun, or Sun going around the Earth. Both are going around each other is REALITY. When you restrict your Perception to limited time, you are caught either in Fact or in Truth. Both are not ultimate. Listen! Listen! I am moving to the next line of this Upanishad. Please understand this next line: तेन त्यक्तेन भुञ्जीथा मा गृधः कस्यस्विद्धनम् ॥ Thena Thyakthena Bhunjeethaa Ma Gridhah Kasyasviddhanam || The literal translation is: “With this renounced, you may enjoy. Covet not the wealth of anyone at all.” Looks very simple moralistic instruction. But it is not! Please understand, if this instruction is moralistic instruction, I would not have even chosen to speak on Upanishads. I am not against morals, but order never comes by morals and discipline in the Cosmos. It is by intelligence and reality that order happens. Please understand, order of the Cosmos never happens by moral and discipline. Order of the Cosmos always happens by intelligence and knowledge, Truth, Reality. I have to set the context from which you need to look into this reality, this statement, understand. Don't be Afraid of Change | Nithyananda Satsang | 01 Feb 2015

Today’s (31st January, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Verse I, Paramahamsa Nithyananda declares how his goal is to lead us to higher reality. Life is all about evolving our cognition from perception to fact, fact to truth and truth to reality. That’s all. Nothing to do with so-called bliss, love, renunciation and yoga; all these are side effects. Watch, Share and Subscribe to our channel to be notified of the next upload click http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=lifeblissfoundation to subscribe. visit: http://www.nithyananda.org http://www.nithyananda.tv http://www.innerawakening.org https://www.youtube.com/user/LifeBlissFoundation https://twitter.com/SriNithyananda https://www.facebook.com/ParamahamsaNithyananda https://plus.google.com/104086565286265959836/posts TRANSCRIPTS:- Let me enter into the mantra. ईशावास्यमिदं सर्वं यत्किञ्च जगत्यां जगत् । तेन त्यक्तेन भुञ्जीथा मा गृधः कस्यस्विद्धनम् ॥ Eeshaavaasyamidham Sarvam Yathkincha Jagathyaam Jagath | Thena Thyakthena Bhunjeethaa Ma Gridhah Kasyasviddhanam || The translation is: “By the Consciousness filled must this all be, Whatever moving thing there is in the ever-moving world. With this renounced, you may enjoy. Covet not the wealth of anyone at all. Listen! Yesterday I was expanding these four words. I will expand those four words a little more deep, and then move to the next. Listen! · PERCEPTION: Whatever your senses can perceive in a limited Time and Space. · Second, FACT: Your senses perceiving with more Time and Space. · TRUTH: With a lot more Time and Space, even your perception evolves. Truth! · REALITY is: Existence as it is, beyond your perception and Time and Space. Yesterday I was giving an example: · PERCEPTION: Earth is flat. Sun is going around the Earth. · FACT: No! Earth is round, and Earth only is going around the Sun. · TRUTH: Earth is not exactly round; it is more like an Orange fruit – a little pressed above and below. And Sun goes around the Earth. Please listen! In the Perception also, you felt that Sun goes around the Earth. In Truth also, Sun goes around the Earth. But, both are not one and the same. Here you know it with a clear understanding that the Sun goes around the Earth in a few billion years because this whole Sun family is not stagnant, the whole Sun family is moving around, the whole Solar System is moving around centred on something. So, in that way, Sun will go around the Earth at least once in billions of years. · The REALITY is: The shape of the Earth should be seen with the Google Earth map. You cannot describe it as round, or a little Orange fruit type. No! No description is possible. See it as it is. And, both Sun and the Earth are going around each other. Earth goes around within one year period; Sun goes around within a few billion years. Listen! Life is all about evolving your cognition from Perception to Fact, Fact to Truth, Truth to Reality, that’s all! It has nothing to do with so-called Bliss, Love, Renunciation, Devotion, Yoga, nothing. All these are side-effects. When your Perception evolves to Fact, you may suddenly become meditative, you may suddenly become yogic, you may suddenly become loving, you may suddenly become blissful; but, life itself, the purpose of life itself is to evolve from Perception to Fact, Fact to Truth, Truth to Reality. When you are moving from Fact to Truth, you may suddenly become active, you may suddenly become more loving, you may suddenly become blissful, you may suddenly lose your cunningness. I am seeing that happening, after I started the Upanishads, in so many people! People are losing their hypocrisy; people are losing their anger, violence. The highest form of violence is, you deciding you will not be useful or productive to anybody. That is the highest form of violence. You deciding, ‘I will not be useful!’ See, when you are angry towards your boss – ‘I will not be useful to his aim, his goal.’ Same way, only when you are angry with yourself and Sangha, Guru, whatever you see.... See, when you are angry with yourself, you will be angry with everything, everybody, every one. Only then you will decide, ‘I will not be useful’, or, ‘I will not make any of their declarations into reality.’ “Love” means, making yourself as a catalyst for everyone’s reality. “Nothing more can be done!” – to THAT extent! Not only you should perceive “whatever you can you have done”, but everyone also should feel “whatever you can, you have done it for making everyone’s reality”. That is what is “Love”. Purpose of Life is to Evolve | Nithyananda Satsang | 31 Jan 2015

Today’s (30th January, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Verse I, Paramahamsa Nithyananda expresses the differences between conclusiveness and inclusiveness, logic and emotion, and the head and heart. Once these two merge, the ultimate reality is perceived and lived as reality. Please listen! Let us repeat: ईशावास्यमिदं सर्वं यत्किञ्च जगत्यां जगत् । तेन त्यक्तेन भुञ्जीथा मा गृधः कस्यस्विद्धनम् ॥ 1 ॥ Eeshaavaasyamidham Sarvam Yathkincha Jagathyaam Jagath | Thena Thyakthena Bhunjeethaa Ma Gridhah Kasyasviddhanam || In the original writing, the sutra is “Jagathyaam Jagath” (जगत्यां जगत्). But, if you see, when I pronounce, I will be pronouncing as “Jagathu”. This is the way I heard from my masters. It is called “Paatta Bhedha”. See, the accent, each master has his own accent. Originally I heard the Upanishads from Isakki Swami, Yogananda Puri, and Vibhootananda Puri – these three. So, when I heard from them, the accent with which I heard is usually revered and respected as “Paatta Bhedha”. And, moreover, when I retain the accent, I also remember them, and it is the way of honouring the Guru, retaining the “Paatta Bhedha” of the Guru – means, the accent of the Guru – without questioning or trying to correct. It is a kind of respect and reverence shown to the masters in Vedic Tradition. It is called “Paatta Bhedha”. Means, your teacher in your area, the way he teaches, the way he chants, the way the accent is maintained, just retaining it. When I heard the same Upanishads in Ramakrishna Mission in Bengal, the pronounciation and accent is a little different: “EeshOvOshyOmidhOm ShOrvOm YOthkinchO JOgOthyOm JOgOth”. Because, in Bengal, all the “ah” will become “oh”. In Bengali, it is never “VivekanAndA”; it is “BiBekanOndO”. So, retaining that accent is the respect given to that Guru, and it is called “Paatta Bhedha” in our tradition. The way I heard exactly from my masters, I am repeating, retaining the “Paatta Bhedha”. The way I chant – “JagathU”, “dhanammm” – all these additions are not actually available in the form of letter in the original verses. But, I just wanted to retain the purity of the “Paatta Bhedha”. I don’t feel “Paatta Bhedha” is in any way disturbing the originality of the verses. So I am retaining it as it is. Let us enter into the verse now. ॐ ईशावास्यमिदं सर्वं यत्किञ्च जगत्यां जगत् । Om Eeshaavaasyamidham Sarvam Yathkincha Jagathyaam Jagath | Listen! “By the Consciousness enveloped must this all be, whatever moving there is in the moving world.” Listen! Yesterday I was explaining two concepts. Later on I tried to ask my sannyasis, ‘How many of you understood?’ Anyhow.....now I am explaining it again. It means, you understand how many understood! HAHAHAHAHA! Two words I introduced: “Inclusiveness” and “Conclusiveness”. Listen! Whenever you operate based on logic, you arrive to conclusions, and move from conclusions to more conclusions. Like Maths: Conclusions! And Science: Conclusions! Your logic, thinking! One of the important components of your life moves in the line of conclusions. It doesn’t care about anything else. It doesn’t care about anything else. One of the biggest problems you face in this way of moving with conclusions..... There are many advantages when you are moving with conclusions. If you want to reach Delhi, if you have a conclusive calculation – how many hours it will take, which road you will have to drive, how many kilometres from where you are..... You need conclusive details; only then you can reach Delhi. So, there are many advantages if you move in the language of logic; it is very conclusive. Unfortunately, there are some disadvantages. Even you will feel bored because life itself is not always conclusive, and life itself is not always logically analyzable and quantifiable or reproducible. Let Your Head and Heart Go Hand in Hand | Nithyananda Satsang | 30 Jan 2015

Today’s (29th January, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. Paramahamsa Nithyananda introduces us into the first verse of the Isha Upanishad. Isha is Consciousness and Intelligence. It is not only the Source or base material of the Universe but it is responsible for keeping everything together, including the base; it permeates everything, even our forms, holding them together. I am entering into the first verse of the Upanishad. Before entering into every verse, I feel like wipe yourself completely, clean, be fresh, so that this verse enters into you as nectar and starts functioning. Listen! Listen! Listen! ईशावास्यमिदं सर्वं यत्किञ्च जगत्यां जगत् । तेन त्यक्तेन भुञ्जीथा मा गृधः कस्यस्विद्धनम् ॥ 1 ॥ Eeshaavaasyamidham Sarvam Yathkincha Jagathyaam Jagath | Thena Thyakthena Bhunjeethaa Ma Gridhah Kasyasviddhanam || Recite along with me. 1 ॥ Eeshaavaasyamidham Sarvam Yathkincha Jagathyaam Jagath | Thena Thyakthena Bhunjeethaa Ma Gridhah Kasyasviddhanam || The translation: By the Consciousness enveloped must this all be, whatever moving thing there is in the moving world. With this renounced you may enjoy. Covet not the wealth of anyone at all. Listen! By the Consciousness enveloped must this all be, whatever moving thing there is in the moving world. With this renounced you may enjoy. Covet not the wealth of anyone at all. Listen! “Eesha”! Understand this word. This word means “Consciousness which has all the auspicious qualities, and which is causal, actual material source of everything is, which we may know or we may not know. And, it is not only the source; it permeates.” Please understand, “Eesha” is not just the source of these plants, stones, you, me; it continues to permeate, fill all of us and everything is, even when we are in this form. Listen! The consciousness is not just the source; it is the base. Not just the base material; it continues to be the base which keeps the material together in this shape. ईशावास्यमिदं सर्वं यत्किञ्च जगत्यां जगत् । Eeshaavaasyamidham Sarvam Yathkincha Jagathyaam Jagath | “By the Consciousnessness enveloped must this all be.” Listen! The word “vaasyam” means “must”. “Must”! There is no “may be”, “might be”, “can be”, “could be”. No! It is a declaration. Declarations are expected to be used as a basic cognition in our tradition. No other spiritual tradition gives so much space for question-answer and debate, and no other spiritual tradition is so conclusive and inclusive. Listen! Inclusiveness always takes away the conclusiveness. Inclusiveness always takes away the conclusiveness. ‘Oh, everything is one and the same. Everything is.....’. The inclusiveness takes away the conclusiveness. But, here, inclusiveness and conclusiveness in Completion! Inclusiveness and conclusiveness in the space of Complete Completion! Vedic Tradition is the first and foremost, one and only, inclusive and conclusive tradition. Understand, inclusiveness is always the extreme of emotion. Conclusiveness is always the extreme of logic. Both never go hand in hand. Only if the logic and emotion, both merge and see the reality..... Logic always operates from fear. So, it goes on dissecting, dissecting, dissecting, dissecting. Emotion always operates in the space of greed, and it tries to go on adding, adding, adding. Consciousness Pervades Everything - Living Advaita Series | Nithyananda Satsang | 29 Jan 2015

Today’s (25th January, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita. Paramahamsa Nithyananda initiates us into Vaada Prativaada – debating the spiritual truths. In the Vedic tradition, all human possibilities are used to internalize the spiritual truths. With deep analysis of ourselves, our being opens up. Debates are a powerful method to open up our being and internalize the Vedic truths. UPANISHADS! I will continue to expand on the Shanthi Mantra. So, let us start with the Shanthi Mantra. ॐ पूर्णमदः पूर्णमिदम् पूर्णात् पूर्णमुदच्यते | पूर्णस्य पूर्णमादाय पूर्णमेवावशिष्यते || || ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः || Om Poornamadhah Poornamidham Poornaath Poornam Udhachyathey | Poornasya Poornamaadhaaya Poornamevaavasishyathey || || Om Shanthi Shanthi Shanthih || “Completion, this is Completion, that is Completion. If this is removed from that, both remain, continue as Completion. When the Completion merges into Completion, Completion alone remains. If the Completion is removed or perceived to be removed from Completion, again Completion alone remains as Completion.” Vivekananda says, ‘Forget about all you know as “religion”. Go back to Upanishads, the Source. Drink from the Source which will strengthen you. Listen! Drink from the Source which will strengthen you.’ Many times, the “aachaara” – the every-day practices you observe – get the status of religion, and, sometimes, the “aachaara” starts even contradicting the main core truth of religion and you continue to practice the “aachaara”, leaving the religion! It is like.....they say a story: In one mutt (Matha - monastery), they had a cat. The cat used to jump around the Sannidhanam (Head of the Matha) when he does puja. He (the cat) will create a big ruckus. So, the Sannidham has said, ‘Hey, first tie the cat before I start the puja, so that I don’t have disturbance.’ They tied the cat, and the Sannidhanam did the puja peacefully. On the second day, again, they tied the cat, and he (the Sannidhanam) did the puja. Third day, again, they tied the cat, and he (the Sannidhanam) did the puja. After some time it became a habit that before the Sannidham starts the puja, you tie the cat, so that he (the Sannidhanam) starts the puja. One day, the cat died, and they don’t know what to do: Without the cat, how to start the puja? And they started searching around here and there for a cat. ‘Hey, we have to tie the cat; only then the puja can start!’ Finally, that day the Sannidhanam didn’t do the puja because the cat was not there! See, the “aacharas”, unfortunately, get into the state of religion, when the reason, context, is lost in course of time. There are thousands of stories where the “aachaara” becomes, “anushtaana” becomes religion. See, “aachaara” and “anushtaana” is a way of living religion only if you know the context of the “aachaara” and the “anushtaana”. Once in a while, you have to review yourself all the “aachaara” and “anushtaana” you are doing: Are you in the right context and doing it? Based on this, you can measure. The scale: Are you in the right context? How to align yourself to the right context? The scale to align you to the right context is Upanishads! Again and again and again, go back to the Source, the Upanishads. Upanishads will give you the clarity, setting the right context for the “aachaara” and “anushtaana” you are following, and making you live, making you live the context in your every-day life. See, “aachaara” and “anushtana” means: “habits” and “lifestyle”; the every-day habits and lifestyle you are supposed to follow. Neither you should give up the “aachaara” and “anushtaanas”, nor you should be without knowing the context. You should do it knowing the context. Doing it by knowing the context! People who give up, lose spiritual strength. And, people who don’t know the context, become superstitious.
