Nachiketha: The Child Who Conquered Death | Nithyananda Satsang | 11 Jan 2013
In today's morning satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) continues his discussion of authenticity with the example of Nachiketa, a young prince who saw his father behaving disrespectfully to the gods. Nachiketa took responsibility for his father's inauthenticity -- pretending to worship but not enacting the inward spirit of devotion. Without insulting his father, he wanted to protect him from falling out of integrity, so he offered himself to appease the gods. He acts as a team member for his father, a subject and supporter, not attempting to displace his king's authority. Nithyananda warns his followers that anyone who believes himself to be a team leader is a failure: everyone stands authentically only as members of a team. This creates the possibility of peaceful co-existence with all humanity. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- So I welcome all of you with my love and blessings. There are some more kids in Malaysia. Premikananda. It's not that he has only one daughter. But earlier I did not have this much of patience. Now I decided. I am going to handle them with all my patience. Little senior kids they understand. He is really really busy, small kids they don't understand but I decided I am going to cope up with even small kids. Of course my gurukul kids are all Nachiketha, they never ask for attention. All over the world all of you should know all my Gurukul kids, each one of them are mentoring one one ashramite, bramhachari or bramhacharini, most of the time 7 or 8 year old children are mentoring their father and mother. Please understand and they are really doing well. That's the beauty, they are really doing well. And they are able to transform my ashramites which I am not able to do. Which I was struggling to do. So all the gurukul kids are ably assisting me in my sangha. Understand. They are ably assisting me in my sangha and so I am going to take a inner Awakening 11 days for ashramite, in that gurukul kids also will be participating. That 11 days no school for gurukul kids. They will be having directly sessions from me. What's the dates Ma? 15th to 23 Jan. So Gurukul is already vacation. But some of them will be going to their homes See, there are 2 batches. Jan 15th to 23rd one batch and Jan 28th to Feb 3rd second batch. Hmm.. See if your mentor is attending then you have to be in the same batch. So if your child is in Gurukul understand, you are literally supporting my Sangha by giving one person from your life, from your family. Because they are very ably assisting me, in my mission. See my mission is all about having authenticity and integrity. It is not about any other efficiency. With authenticity, integrity and responsibility, the word efficiency is too small. You just explode. I also commit with my gurukul kids, within this year I will build the whole gurukul like Vasishta's gurukul. This is my commitment to the gurukul kids. The same type of landscape and the NDTV Ramayana had done a very good job by studying the original Ramayana and making that kind of a Landscape and ambiance available. We will also dig out the original Ramayana, Valmiki's Ramayana and get an ambiance built. I think very soon I will be known for my gurukul. I am going to put that much of energy intelligence and time into it. And the infrastructure. Making infrastructure available. So beautiful. Now I can see Oman-Sivagangai also. But again Kashi is missing. Where is he? Tell him Kalabhairava is calling. Alright to day I have a very beautiful thing. The Bhagavad Gita printed edition of first Three volumes, I am releasing. In Tamil. I sincerely congratulate and thank and bless my Tamil publication team for their hard work. Paripporani, Supriya and all the other editors, volunteers, please stand up. But with all that, with authenticity and strength these guys stood up. Stood up and I know it is, this whole book is only, see from my side it is only my saliva, just words, I have not put any other effort. From their side it is their blood. They have put their blood, to get these books out. And I also wanted to tell you guys, don't think only three volumes have come.

20th Aug TRANSCRIPTIONS:- I welcome all of you with my love and blessings. Today, Mahadeva is gracing us in the form of removing the curse on the white elephant, Airavatha. Once, Durvasa (a powerful rishi known for his short-temper) cursed Airavatha for abusing Shiva's prasadam. So, later on, the Airavatha came to Madurai, worshipped Sundareshwara, and got rid of the curse. Today, Mahadeva is gracing us in that form. And the gurukul kids are also sitting in that form to enact the Leela. I will move to today's Nithya Satsangh. Again the subject is "COMPLETION". Today, I will expand on the various processes, methods, nitty-gritties involved in Completion. Today, we are starting the Inner Awakening program Level-2. First day itself we will be working on the root-patterns in a deeper level, because from today, you are going to start completing with others. So, you need to complete so many things within you so you can start completing with others. Understand, Completion at every level, for example, Completion with the planetary forces removes all the Navagraha Doshas; Completion with the house you are living in removes all the vaastu problems; Completion with your primal pain, the pain which started in your body when you took birth, Completion with that removes all the doshas, negativities related to birth; and Completion with the different elements of your life removes all the doshas related to rathnas. Understand, Completion at every step removes negativities in your life. Especially the deep bio-memory fears, the fears you carry in the level of bio-memory can be healed only through Completion. Please come to the space of listening! Completing with all the incompletions of fear of snakes you carry is Naga Dosha Nivrutthi, completing with Naga Dosha. Completion with all the deep unconscious fears you carry brings sleeplessness to an end. Completion, Completion, Completion, the deeper and deeper and deeper Completion leads to more and more and more depths of spirituality. Please understand, sometimes people ask me, 'Swamiji, only why very few enlightened beings are there on Planet Earth?' I tell them, 'What are you talking? Of course, due to the destructive consumeristic lifestyle, materialistic lifestyle, and a very powerful abusive Westernization which happened in India, the number has reduced. But there was a time when literally living enlightenment was the lifestyle!' I know, there were at least ten cities where in every street at least one enlightened being would be living! First, Varanasi, Madurai, Kanchi -- these are all called "mokshapuris"; Dwaraka! In every street, one enlightened being would be living! Haridwar! "Mokshapuris"! I was studying Kapila's (Maharshi Kapila's) family tree. I was shocked! In one family how many incarnations! Really! See, Kapila's father, Rishi Kardama, and mother, Devahuti! Devahuti had a sister, Prasuti. They (Devahuti and Prasuti) are the daughters of Manu. Devahuti's son is Kapila. Prasuti's daughter is only Sati (Sati Devi, Shiva's wife before Parvati). Literally, Kapila and Sati were cousins! And then Kapila's sister, Anusuya, gives birth to Dattatreya. Dattatreya is Kapila's own sister's son! Just in that one family, how many incarnations! Kapila is an incarnation; he is an incarnation of Mahadeva. Traditionally he is considered to be the incarnation of Vishnu and Mahadeva. And Dattatreya! (Dattatreya is considered to be an incarnation of the Trimurti, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva). Please understand, it is not a story. There was a time when Jeevan Mukthi was the lifestyle, enlightened beings were the lifestyle! That was the way life was, that was the way life existed. Understand, Completion. Completion makes the whole of humanity live enlightenment, live Jeevan Mukthi, and live as incarnations. With incompletions, life becomes more and more difficult. With completions, life becomes more and more blissful, more and more living enlightenment. Actually, with incompletions, you don't even know what is right and wrong. Today is Raksha Bandhan. My blessings to the whole world! Matha cha Parvathi Devi Pitha Devo Maheshwaraha | Bandhava Shiva Bhakthascha Swadesho Bhuvana Thraiyam || "Matha (Mother) is Parvathi, Pitha (Father) is Mahadeva, The whole world is brothers and sisters, all the sons of Mahadeva are brothers and sisters, All the three worlds are my native place (home town), my country." So, the whole world is our brothers and sisters! Blessings to everyone on this auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan! Very funny thing! I was reading in some media, newspaper, and in Facebook also, some of the media houses in Tamil Nadu, the atheist-based media houses which are destroying the Vedic tradition and trying to alienate Tamil Nadu from mainstream India, trying to hijack Tamil Nadu from mainstream India, these separatist guys who have their own media houses, do you know the funny thing? Whenever your engrams, desires, fear, greed, everything is boiled in the high energy, there is a possibility your desires can become reality, your fears can be conquered. You can be free from both desire and fear if you are ready courageous enough to face the process with consciousness. Understand, during the death your desires come in front of you just to make you understand the disillusionment which can be caused by their presence. Fears come in front of you make you understand they cannot frighten you anymore. But if you do not have the awareness to look into them you get deluded by them. Even while they come to reveal the truths about them, it is like mistaking a friend to be a enemy, and before even the friend expresses his friendliness, you thinking he is enemy and dealing him with a different attitude. So when the desires and fears come in front of you during the moment of death, have patience and restful awareness to look into them. They are coming in front of you just to tell you their disillusionment and their ability that they can't frighten you anymore. By not looking at them with a deep restful awareness, those desires are given a wrong extension of life by your unaware unconscious mind. When the desires are given a wrong extension of life, what you experience is heaven. When the fears are given the wrong extension of life, what you experience is hell. With restful awareness when you deal both of them what you experience is liberation. Death can be a great guru to liberate you and god to give you the ultimate. Having restful awareness in every moments of your life during the great attacks of fear and greed while you are in the body is the best way to prepare for the death, and ability to handle your fears and greeds which you may encounter while you leave the body. Moment of the leaving the body is of great importance. That moment will decide the way you are going to continue your further journey. So prepare yourself with restful awareness, continuously being a jeevanmukta, practicing living enlightenment, being established in restful awareness, during all the chaos or the tsunamis of fear and greed attacks in your life. While you are in the body in unconscious way without having awareness, perception on death before dying or during dying can bring tremendous suffering and can bring a big damage to the conscious evolution process which is termed as nivritti in the upanishadic records. So understand moving consciously into the death process liberates you from the fear and greed. Every moment in your life when you go through the fear or greed, the small dimension of death is perceived and experienced by your restless consciousness. Bring restful awareness; you will have complete depth in handling the fear and greed with restful awareness, so it can liberate you. As these truths are apourushya and saarvabhoumya, not dependent on any individual, including the body through which it is read out, and saarvabhoumya - universal, anybody who internalizes this truth, aligns their conscious process of cognizance based on these truths, will be liberated and will celebrate their very existence by the grace of the Kalabhairava Mahaakaala, the Cosmos itself. QUESTIONS & ANSWERS The first question today is from Ma Nithya Priyatmananda, who is asking, 'Dear Kalabhairava, what are the steps of the death meditation that we need to do every night? Kindly explain.' Every fear you accumulate, every fear makes you feel agitated, every fear which you do not want to think, remember, go through, go into all those fears consciously, neither deciding to save yourself from that fear nor having greed to achieve what you are afraid of. So without having the greed or fear, enter into the fear. Naturally the fear will lose its quality of fear when you do not carry fear or greed for the fear. Greed has its quality of greed because your greed for greed and fear about the greed. Same way the fear has the quality of fear because your fear for the fear and indirect greed towards the fear. So when your fears are approached with fearlessness and greedlessness, the straightening out of your consciousness everyday happens.......

AKASHIC READINGS - DEATH (PART 2)
In today's morning satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) reads the Akashic Records o the subject of Death. Death is evolution. When we have many deaths of the mind within the same body, we evolve into enlightenment. When we have many bodily deaths with the same mind, we are moving backward on the evolutionary scale, and falling into endarkenment. Death is our doorway to liberation. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Death is not end or extinction, extinction of existence. It is just climate change on your body and mind. Whenever many deaths of mind happens in same body, it is spiritual evolution. If many bodies die in the same mind, it is unconsciousness, spiritual endarkenment. If more minds die in same body you are spiritually growing, evolving. If more bodies die in same mind you are spiritually going down, destroying yourself. Again and again and again bodies die, minds die. Blessed are those in whom many minds die in one body. Continuously allow minds to be dying. Let your mind, even if you think in a best space, allow it to die, allow it for transformation. Allowing the mind to die every time in the same body leads you to the highest liberation and celebration. The concept of money, possession, ownership, is the side effect of inability to accept the death of the body. The feeling of 'your son is your extension' is also the inability to accept the extinction of body. When you are ready to accept the extinction of the body, the part of you which does not die goes through a powerful transformation, and liberates itself from the dying component of you, which is the body. Through this way it achieves a space where there is no extinction where there is no death. Death is the most powerful mechanism, either to get enlightened or to get yourself drowned in deeper and deeper unconsciousness. Every day when you fall asleep it is equivalent to death, when you wake up it is equivalent to birth. From the deep sleep if you come to the dreaming state it is unconscious birth. From the deep sleep if you come directly to the waking state it is conscious birth. Every day you go through birth and death. How you behave with this birth and death which is happening everyday is going to decide how you are going to behave with the birth and death which is going to happen with your body, because everyday birth and death is nothing but the direct glimpse of the long big birth and big death, which is only has a difference in time, but not in space or the place. Your everyday birth and death and every-life birth and death happens in same space and place. Only time difference between one birth and the other birth, the time difference between birth-death of one and the birth-death of the other is different. There are some files which is not able to completely be revealed just by verbalization. Even after reading, verbalization, still those files remain having some material without being completely revealed. Those stuff, those material, can be transmitted only by initiation. Because those akashic records cannot get into the realm of verbalization, they are not able to be translated into words. They just continue to remain as vibrations. When your mind dies in the same body and becomes a new mind, cosmos enters into you. When your body dies in the same mind, takes a new body, you enter into the cosmos. When cosmos enters you it is liberation, when you enter into the cosmos it is death. The part feels as part, the moment it wants to be part; part only should be blamed not the Whole, because part only continues to hold on to the thought to be part. Whole is not holding on to the thought. Even though the thought might have happened on the Whole also, only when you hold on to the thought you remain as part. So the feeling of separation, who created, why created, is not the really focus of your vengeance or action. Your focus should be on who is holding on to that feeling of separation, not who created, why it got created. Who holds on to it, gives life to it. The feeling of separation, because the part only is holding on to it, it is giving life to it. So your action and intensity to act upon should be directed to the center who is holding on to that feeling that you are separate from the Whole, you are part not the Whole. Questions and Answers The first question is from Janani. She is asking, 'Dear Swamiji, if one has taken an unconscious birth, how can he take a conscious death?' That is what is life. Life gives you the possibility to move from Unconsciousness to Consciousness and Consciousness to Superconsciousness. If you take unconscious birth you can move to conscious death. If you have taken conscious birth you can move towards superconscious death which is enlightenment itself, and even if you take unconscious birth you can directly jump into superconscious death also, and same way even if you have taken conscious birth you can get back to Unconscious death if you decide strongly.

AKASHIC READINGS - DEATH (PART 1)
In today's morning satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) reads the first file in the Akashic Records on Death. According to the cosmos, death is a gift given to every human being to dissolve their false sense of separation from the Divine Source. He tells us that our experience of death depends on our level of awareness. When we understand that our life events are maya, delusion, then death becomes a celebration, a joyful reconnection with the Cosmic Whole. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Death is liberation and celebration. It is a natural conscious digestion process; gift given to every individual soul tormented by the ignorance that they are separated from the whole constantly reminding them anything which separates them including the concepts is impermanent, anything which see, which makes them feel as departed part of the whole is impermanent. To make every individual soul understand that the concept of your individuality is imagination and impermanent, death is given as a natural boon to the whole universe. Here Mahadeva (...) Here Mahadeva reads out the science of death for the seekers and for the people who want to cross the death. Death is of 7 types experienced by human beings. First - the man who feels he is nothing more than a body. He experiences oblivion as death. He feels end of his identity is death, end of his individual existence is death, which is obviously false, illusion, delusion, which brings tremendous suffering, and the suffering constantly tortures him and does not let him live even while he is having the body. Next - the person who is completely centered on desires, he has a greed and cannot understand the possibility for a breakthrough so he continuously extends his greed even after he leaves the body. All the concepts exists in all half-baked philosophies and religious concepts, the concepts of heaven and extended life where the desires are fulfilled, where the continuum of the desires exist, is extended delusion of desire-based individual identity setup. This is neither completely false nor permanent existence. Based on the ability to project their desires into the existential space they create their own heaven. As long as they are disillusioned they continue to project their heaven and live. When they are disillusioned by their own projection then they get back to their original source and decide the next course of their action based on the imaginations and delusions they retained after the disillusionment. Every disillusionment boils down the extended imaginations to the root delusion. If the root delusions themselves are boiled, burnt away, the imagination completely goes away, you are liberated from the imagination. If the root delusions are not burnt or boiled you project your root delusions into a different levels of imagination. Usually the desire imagination expansion, when it is disillusioned boils down to the root imagination. It projects again itself in the next root of guilt. The expansion, the imaginary projection of the guilt, is only considered as the lower levels of hell. Again neither the hell is completely truth nor the heaven is a completely truth. And same way neither of them is complete false nor of them is complete reality. Please understand this great truth Mahadeva repeats for every one of you to grasp inside. The reality you are facing now, what you call as bhooloka; the very less intense projection of your delusion is bhooloka and little higher projection of your extended greed is swarg swarga loka the heaven and guilt is little higher projection of your deluded disturbed mental setup, patterns of root greed in different direction. The guilt is lower level hells where you repent, repent, repent for your sins. Sin is nothing but retaining the root patterns of desire even after you are disillusioned by the projections of those same roots. When the fruits and the crops disillusion you, still you hang on expecting the different root or crops to come out of the same seed, is guilt. Guilt projects into the next level of hell which is again neither truth nor false. It is again your ability and the intensity to project decides the quality and quantity of the time you need to spend in the hell. Once you are disillusioned even your sufferings are not real. You enter into the root pattern which goes to the deeper root than the ordinary experience of hell. The deeper root is pain; the ultimate hells you experience. In this space again your death decides the quality and the quantity of the sufferings you are continuously going to experience. Understand every levels of death teaches you the great lessons if you are ready to hear. Every life every year practically every day, every one of you go through all the 7 deaths. The fourth death - death from the pain. Even the pain is also a projected delusion from the root pattern. It does not exist and it cannot co-exist with the existence of the cosmic soul. Every individual water drop in the ocean when it moves, by its very innate intelligence, visualizes it is born and separated from the Whole. When it gets rid of the very root delusion, it is called enlightenment. The birth is not happening as human beings understand, as the separation from the Source. The Source continues to exist as part of the part which thinks it is already become part from the Source. Source participates completely with the part in every action, in every deed, in every step, in every behaviour, in every moment, through its all permeating penetration Presence. The participation is never allows the separation of the part from the Whole. So the part continues to be the part of the Whole. The birth as you understand does not exist in the cosmos. Continuously your movements, your desires, creates different states of consciousness in you. Because of these altered states of consciousness like lust, anger, greed, fear, jealousy, competition, love, feeling of deprived, depression; because of these various experiences and the expressions, part starts feeling it is separated from the Whole. The moment the part feels it is separated from the Whole, it claims it has taken birth. So the birth actually does not happen as you think. When a body comes out of another one body, it cannot be called as birth. Only when the individual awareness feels its independent existence, the birth begins. Birth is the beginning of the suffering, as the part forgets its source existence, connection and participation with the Source. As the source relationship is forgotten by the part, the deluded suffering becomes the lifestyle from the moment of birth. Birth cannot be considered as the separation of the body you are carrying from another one body which you call as mother, as this does not immediately inflict suffering into the individual part, because the individual part does not claim, feel, potent, participate in the concept that it is individual part. So the truth exists as it is, even though the body is separated from the another one body which you may call as mother. The moment the individual consciousness feels the part is no more participating directly with the Whole, that moment can be considered as birth. That moment indicates the individuals suffering beginning. It may get extended as long as that individual, that part, feels it is independent existence from the whole existence. When the part remains as a part, it continues to create various forms of conscious states, and the various forms of conscious states creates the kaleidoscopy experience of this world for that individual part. When the individual part realizes its mistake of remembering itself from the Whole, it relaxes into the Whole; that moment is called enlightenment. In this deepest form of the truth, oh the souls which feels deluded you are separated, you are moved away from the Whole, come back - remember in the form of breathing, in the form of heat, in the form of your body, in the form of the thoughts penetrating into your system from the space, I the Whole continue to hold, support, feel, be part and participate in the existence and in the part of the existence. Even though the part does not feel I am participating in your existence, I am the source, partner, part and whole of your very existence. O dear souls who feel you have departed from the Whole, relax from your delusion. Whatever you think as the distance between the Source and you, it is just your thinking. The distance remains Zero from the beginning of your journey from and during the journey and till the end of the journey. Listen to this great sacred secret that will make you realize this great truth. Your birth has never happened as you consider your birth date. The birth is your imagination day, the day you felt you are separate from the Whole. So relax from that imagination -- that day is the day of your enlightenment. Whether the drop feels it is floating, swimming, drowning, dissolving or disappearing, the drop is always the part of the whole ocean.
