TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SPETEMER 10, 2012 IN KODAIKANAL, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. The Gita was imparted by the enlightened Hindu incarnation Sri Krishna to the warrior-prince Arjuna over 5000 years ago. Amazingly, the spiritual wisdom and life solutions offered in the Gita are so universal and current that even today it is used as a personal transformation guide. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verses 11 & 12, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) gives specific instructions for sitting in meditation. Sri Krishna tells us to "sit in a clean spot". Nithyananda expands these words to include not only dusting the physical space before sitting, but also cleansing our inner space of agitation, craftiness and dishonesty. The inner space should be filled with spiritual acceptance. We withdraw from attention to external objects and sit in the silence of unclutching. What is missing in Hinduism? | Nithyananda Satsang | 09 Sep 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 9, 2012 IN KODAIKANAL, INDIA In today's morning satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) addresses Hinduism's need to return to its original spirituality. The fundamental practice of Upanishad, in which devotees sit in the presence of a Master and integrate the principles of meditation, is no longer transmitted as a central religious element among Hindus. Ideally, children learn this practice from their parents at an early age and carry the reverence they acquire into adulthood. Nithyananda points out that while non-Hindus are often forbidden to worship in Hindu temples, Hindus themselves may not be worshipping with the right spiritual understanding. He recommends that Hindus return to the Vedic roots of their spirituality. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- It is so unfortunate that whole Hinduism lost this Upanishad. Buddhism is still able to create more and more enlightened beings just because they held on to that one truth "Zazen". Zazen means just sitting. It is so unfortunate even the priests in the South Indian Temples are standing and doing Pooja. So this idea of sitting is completely lost. Above the Mahakal, if you see all temples will be sitting and doing Pooja. Below Mahakal, all will be standing and doing Pooja. It is unfortunate. You may think "What is there in sitting". You don't know. I tell you. You don't know -- power of sitting. By sitting, sitting, you will learn how to be sitting with aloneness "Rahasistitaha, Aatmanam rahasistitaha". That is why, in Hindu tradition, the highest practice is called Upanishad. The highest preaching is called Upanishad. Even the place where the teaching is transmitted is called seat. Peeta. Understand. So much of importance was given to sitting. I tell you. If you learn sitting, sitting, sitting, you will easily pick-up this sitting with yourself. The Upanishad. If I have my own way, I will really tell all our Ashrams and centers, have furniture and chairs only for the people who cannot sit on the floor. Elders or who are sick or handicapped. Even to all our devotees, I give this as a spiritual instruction. Only when you are not feeling well, when you can't sit on the floor, use furniture. Otherwise even in the house have furniture for the visitors. But when you all guys sit, all you guys sit on the floor. You don't know, this habit of sitting on the floor will slowly help you to sit with yourself. Upanishad. So in 11 days you can catch that Upanishad samyama. In Buddhism they have a very beautiful way. They will just gaze at the wall, facing the wall they will sit and gaze. No thoughts allowed. Just sit. Bodhi dharma sat in Upanishad for 12 years gazing the wall. Now after all, all you guys, Niraharis, you may need to move your head away from the wall may be 3 times a day for juice. I really wanted Hinduism to get back to that truth of Upanishad. It is so sad when I went to Nepal this time, in Katmandu I saw 82 percent Hindu population, only 5 percent budhist population but go in any street, you will find 10 buddhist monks going around. You will not find a single Hindu monk. It is so sad. You guys lost all the spiritual wealth, you inherited. Why do you think your next generation is not becoming monks. Because it was never based on the spiritual inspiration. You can see those Buddhist monks highly educated, cultured working on the spiritual truths. The few hindu monks you will see that's also very few. One or two. Old beggars. In Katmandu, Pasupathinath temple asking for few penny. That's it. I take a vow in the name of Maha Kala and Maha Kali. Just through the akashic readings, inspiring and initiating I will create atleast 100 thousand sadhus, sanyasis. I mean youngsters, celibates living enlightenment and spreading enlightenment. Giving life to the vedic tradition. It is really unfortunate that these great spiritual heritage. In Zen monasteries, Buddhist monasteries, you can see thousands of monks sitting in Zazen for a whole day. Hats off to ISKON movement for making ajapa japa as a life style. They atleast brought that back. But one of the greatest heritage of Hinduism, vedic tradition the Upanishad. Neither gurus talk about it nor disciples practice. The general public do not even have confidence that Upanishad is possible in their life. In Hindiusm if you are a monk, you can't even survive unless you do some social service. I am not against social service. Just now I blessed the people who gave the money. I am going to send this and going to do social service. But that should not replace our mystical explorations. Unfortunately, in Hinduism the mystical exploring has been replaced by running schools, colleges and hospitals. Each person inspired about enlightenment is a diamond. His time and energy should be directed towards achieving the enlightenment and radiating the extraordinary experiences and powers of enlightenment.

Upanishad Samyama - Technique for Self-Discovery | Nithyananda Satsang | 09 Sep 2012

Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. The TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMGER 9, 2012 IN KODAIKANAL, INDIA Gita was imparted by the enlightened Hindu incarnation Sri Krishna to the warrior-prince Arjuna over 5000 years ago. Amazingly, the spiritual wisdom and life solutions offered in the Gita are so universal and current that even today it is used as a personal transformation guide. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 10, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) speaks on Upanishad. This beautiful practice of sitting with the Master is the cornerstone of Vedic spirituality. NIthyananda gives a meditation technique to experience its essence. When we sit to meditate, our thoughts are often cluttered with distractions. Nithyananda advises us to sit with intentional focus on our distractions so that we purify them. On the first day we sit with our worries; on the second we eat until we are completely full, and then sleep deeply. By the third day we've exhausted our interferences and can begin to drop into the sweet silence of Upanishad. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Bhagavad Gita -- 6th Chapter -- Verse 10: Dhyana Yoga Yogi Yunjeeta satatam aatmaanam rahasi sthitaha Ekaaki yata -- citaatmaa niraasheera -- parigrahaha The Jeevan Mukta having subdued his thoughts and identity being free from desires with an attitude of renunciation seated within oneself in aloneness should continuously connect with the higher consciousness by unclutching. I will continue on the same verse. Yogi Yunjeeta satatam: Subdued his thoughts and identity atmaanam rahasi sthitaha: with an attitude of renunciation Please understand. Seated within oneself in aloneness; atmaanam rahasisthitaha: Sitting just with atma. The pure self. Just within yourself. I feel so joyful to talk on these verses because these verses are the exact path I walked. Understand it is like a once you become enlightened you know all the paths. You can teach all the paths. All the knowledge about all the paths are revealed to you, available to you. But you always have a special affiliation to the path in which you travelled. I am so happy to teach these verses, because these are the verses, I will sit and read may be 12 or 13 even after my enlightenment. Because the enlightenment happened in me as an experience. I myself wanted to know what all the steps I walked through to achieve that experience. So, like an explosion it has happened. So now I needed to know without my knowledge what all the steps I walked through. I never read this verse atmaanam rahasisthitaha means seated within oneself in aloneness. But I always used to practice this. I always sit with Arunachala with the hill. This is the usual posture. Not for 10 minutes, half-an-hour. Please don't mistake. From sunrise to sunset. Without feeling like getting up. Not that I will have a thought. Oh let me get up and then I will try to control myself. No. Just sitting and gazing. The greatest blessing I received from my mind and my body is only initial convincing I need to do. That's all. After that never ever it disturbs. This Nirahara Samyama. Very casual like a sports . Very sportively I started. Only 1st day I need to convince. By the time evening kala Bairava Dharshan, the body was ready. From 2nd day, I don't even remember about food. Over. It is the best body and mind to live with. Please understand. You also need to understand this truth. Now so many of you are doing Nirahara Samyama. Means the living, hunger free. So many of you, hundreds of you are doing "The Samyama". If you don't even feel after tomorrow noon "I am going to eat solid food", if you don't even feel, I tell you, your bio-memory is the best bio-memory to live with. If you feel, but you also feel, "Ah, I may feel but I am not going to eat. I am going to live", then your bio-memory is friend for you. But if you feel "No, no, these are all not for me. I think I have already done too much. This 21 day itself is too much. Ah. It's Ok, Ok", then your bio-memory is your enemy. See, actually you feeling "this 21 days is too much for me" all these is just your own decision about yourself. Stop this your own decision about yourself. Allow my decision about yourself as your life. I also wanted to announce one more thing. The "The Samyamites" all of them have contributed Rs.89000 for the Sivakasi relief work to all the people who are affected. Along with this Rs.89,000 , I will give one more Lakh rupee and send it as Two Lakh rupee in your name, apart from the 50 Lakhs I am sending from Dhyanapeetam. So it will go as 52 Lakh. Not only that as a Swarnakarshana Bairava, I bless you guys whoever has contributed even 1 rupee, even 1 penny to this project, I bless you guys, you guys will never have fire accident in your life. You will be protected from fire and as Swarnakarshana Bairava, I bless you guys,

The Reality of Reality | Nithyananda Satsang | 08 Sep 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2012, IN KODAIKANAL, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 10, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) shares the sacred secret of how to live an enlightened life. When we are attached to our identity, we judge the world through the lens of our beliefs and prejudices. We create imaginary wars with people around us, thinking we know how they feel about us. Nithyananda gives us a technique to shed these fantasy relationships. Approach someone we think of as an enemy and sit quietly with them, asking them to share their honest feelings about us. Repeat this with someone we think of as a friend. We will learn the spiritual skill of impartiality: of treating both friends and enemies with equal respect and compassion. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- "Question - Dear Swamiji, is there such a thing as Objective Reality, or is the world nothing but a reflection of my perceptions? Can you also give me some signs to distinguish between reality and fantasy? - Nidhi, Vizag Nidhi, first thing you need to know whatever you understand as reality - the dimensions like a size, shape, quality, your association of good & bad with it - all that - even one quality does not exist in objective reality. Please understand if you think this is wall, this is not wall, whatever you understand -- why this wall, what this wall does, how it looks, what it is, who built, is it good for me, bad for me, all concepts you have about the wall is not there actually on the wall. So In a way I can say there is no such thing as objective reality and there is something called objective reality. There is no such thing as objective reality is also true. There is objective reality is also true. Understand, I tell you there is no such thing as objective reality because anything you see, you perceive -- does not exist as you perceive. And I tell you there is objective reality. Why you know? because you may be liberated from this wall, but the other person who is not liberated, will continue to see this wall as objective reality. Because of that I tell objective reality exists. But I tell you for you objective reality does not exist. So the right truth objective reality does not exist for you, but the objective reality exists for the objects you see in objective reality. But as the objective reality does not exist for you itself, how can the objects you see in the objective reality is objective reality, can be objective reality for you? Listen to the statement again - as the objective reality which you perceived itself is not an objective reality for you, then, how can the objects you perceive in the objective reality can have the objective reality which you perceive as the objective reality which is not a objective reality ? So what you know as reality is nothing but the perversion of your fantasy. What you know as fantasy is nothing but the perversion of your reality. When you go beyond what you know as reality and fantasy you see "yen" reality which is eNreality. In enlightened reality there is no space for fantasy reality - reality based fantasy, fantasy based reality. Fantasy based reality is deities. Reality based fantasy is theme parks. Reality based reality is enlightened reality. Fantasy based fantasy is your dreams. The reality based reality awakens in you when you understand neither reality based fantasies and fantasy based realities and reality-reality does not lead you to reality. The reality-reality, fantasy-fantasy, fantasy-reality, reality-fantasy is all finally your reality fantasy leading you from fantasy reality to reality fantasy. Finally, only when you drop everything the reality- reality expresses itself beyond reality! Repeat this with someone we think of as a friend. We will learn the spiritual skill of impartiality: of treating both friends and enemies with equal respect and compassion. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 6: Dhyana Yoga, 10th Verse Sept 8, 2012 Yogee yunjeeta satatam aatmaanam rahasisthitah l Ekaakee yatachittaatmaa niraasheeraparigrahah ll The one who feels the same towards an affectionate person, a friend, an enemy, the indifferent, the neutral, the hateful one, the unfriendly, the noble one or a sinner! Yogee yunjeeta satatam aatmaanam rahasisthitah l Ekaakee yatachittaatmaa niraasheeraparigrahah ll The translation: The contemplative sage, saint having subdued his thoughts and character, his identity being free from desires with an attitude of renunciation, seated within oneself in aloneness, should continuously connect with the higher consciousness by unclutching. The Jeevan Mukta having subdued his thoughts and character, identity, being free from desires with an attitude of renunciation, seated within oneself in aloneness, should continuously connect with the higher consciousness by unclutching. Now Bhagavan actually enters into the straight technique of unclutching. Yogee yunjeeta satatam aatmaanam rahasisthitah - Having subdued his thoughts and identity being free from desires! I tell you, subduing identity, subduing thoughts anybody can do. It is not a big thing, I tell you. Thoughts can be reduced very easily with any simple technique. I know one sadhu. I have seen him day-in and day-out in Rishikesh. Whole day the only work he will do is wash his Kamandalu, the water pot. It will be just shining. But you know the most funny thing? He has less thoughts, very less thoughts. His only focus is that his Kamandalu should not become dirty. His water pot should not be dirty. That's where everything stops. Any simple technique, even technique like washing your water pot can bring your thoughts down. That's not a big thing! Subduing the identity means thoughts are food, identity is person who eats. Who eats should be subdued not just the food. The identity grows, expands with thought. Reducing thoughts is not a big thing. Actually, without touching the identity, reducing the thoughts is very easy. I have seen a yogi standing on his one leg for more than 12 years, in Kumbhamela during my Parivrajaka time. He really had a very reduced thought state. But unfortunately the attention people give because of his Tapas has made his identity swollen like his leg, one leg, on which he was standing. One leg on which he was standing was swollen, same way because the attention he enjoys from people, his identity was swollen. It is very easy to have less number of thoughts, if your identity is getting more and more boosting. If the identity is not touched, it is very easy to have less number of thoughts. When the identity is touched, almost like a honey comb, how if the honey comb is touched, the bees come out, like that thoughts come out. I have seen many of my ashramites. They will really be having very less thoughts, calm, composed. Just poke at their identity once. People whom they don't like or there is a hatred, just one word from that person like a honey comb -- Buzzzzz! All the thoughts will come up. The whole puss will come out. If your identity is not touched, having less number of thoughts is not a big thing. Once Kuppammal, my Mentor and Guru, she was really worthy of that word - Vibhuthanandapuri. She told me "You need to learn to drop the identity". 15 year old boy, what will I understand? I said "You tell me what I should do, I will do". She gave me a begging bowl and told me "Go around and beg all over the city and come back". My grandfather, he is a big guy in that village. So, till death he was the head of the rice merchants' association. See, rice is the biggest business in that area. For 3 states that one city supplies rice.

Power, Greed and Freedom | Nithyananda Satsang | 07 Sep 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 7, 2012 IN KODAIKANAL, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 9, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) reveals the layers of collective consciousness and how the world reflects them. Humans have potential to create three kinds of lifestyle, depending on their level of awareness. When society is dominated by the collective subconscious, it creates a money-chasing lifestyle ruled by greed. When collective unconscious has control over society, it evolves a lifestyle based on power and ruled by fear. Once we become aware of our greed and fear, and release them, we transform to a freedom-based system of independent thinking and individual responsibility. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Bhagavad Gita -- 6th chapter, DhyanaYoga, 9th verse Suhrun-mitraar-yudaaseena madhyastha-dveshya-bandhushu l Saadhush-vapi cha paapeshu samabuddhir-vishishyate ll The Translation: The one who feels the same towards an affectionate person, a friend and enemy, the indifferent, the neutral, the hateful one, the unfriendly, the noble one or a sinner is said to be established in a superior state. Understand these few basic sacred secrets. Meditation is not an action. It is a lifestyle. That is why in the chapter on Meditation, Bhagvan is talking about all these things. You can never start meditating, you can only become meditative. Understand, there is a vast difference between starting meditation or becoming meditative. Meditation is not a Anacin, Metacin, Antidepressant. No! Meditation is not Anacin, Metacin, Antidepressant. Please understand, meditation cannot be just repairing something in you. It has to completely transform you. Meditating is different; being meditative is different. In this verse Bhagavan is very clear; your whole life should become meditative. The whole life should become meditative. Yesterday he was addressing objects, yesterday Bhagavan was saying, explaining in the last verse, how not to be disturbed by objects. Now Bhagavan is going to the next step, how not to be disturbed by the persons. Actually the seventh, eighth, ninth verses of Bhagavad Gita, these three verses can become a powerful samyama. First he has given us the technique to work with cold, heat, unpleasant, pleasant situations. Then he took us to the next level working with the fear-based mental setup and greed-based mental setup where you are free from the concept of greed. Now he is taking us to the next level, where he is making us free from the concept of higher, lower human beings. First he liberates us from atmosphere, weather, outer/inner. Outer is heat and cold. Inner is pleasant, unpleasant. Then he liberates us from the greed, objects. Sama loshtashma kanchanah -- where you are free from cold; time and/or mud or a stone. He is making us free from the greed based patterns, greed. Now he is liberating us from human beings, sufferings that can be caused by human beings. How when you drink more and more honey, only then you understand and enjoy it, same way only I am enjoying this Bhagavad Gita. Understand, through this verse, Bhagavan is liberating us from fear-based system. Yesterday itself I spoke on fear-based, greed-based, both the systems. But yesterday's verse, Bhagavan's Bhagavad Gita verse was talking only about the greed. Sama loshtashma kanchanah. He was only talking about having impartiality between mud, stone or Gold. Today he talks about the power-based system, human beings, power-based systems. Please understand, power-based system is a product of human unconsciousness, greed-based system is a product of human sub-consciousness. Understand, power-based system is product of collective human un-consciousness; greed-based system is product of collective human sub-consciousness. You may ask 'what is the difference?' Unconscious means completely, the parts of which you are not unaware ( should be 'aware' ? ) but you try to make it aware, without awakening that unconscious into the super-conscious. Everybody has the feeling to become Lord of the Universe. You can become if you make your unconscious into conscious and super-conscious. When you make your unconscious into conscious, you will become Lord of you. When you raise that to super-conscious, you will be the Lord of whatever is in your space. More than the word Lord, I will use, you be in tune with the whole. This is the right way of becoming Lord of the Universe. But instead you try to become a power center through political power. I tell you even in the school, the class leader is nothing but political power!

Break Free OF Collective Myths | Nithyananda Satsang | 06 Sep 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 6, 2012 AT KODAIKANAL, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 8, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) describes the essence of being sadhu. The classical definition of sadhu is one who has renounced all attachments and lives in a state of holy wandering. Nithyananda tells us that we can broaden this understanding for the new millennium. To save humanity, we must all relinquish our support of money-based and power-based systems, which have created greed, corruption and violence. Once we change our values to base our lives on personal self-worth and spiritual freedom, we can live like sadhus even in the material world. Our transformation will create the 21st century consciousness on Planet Earth. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- 6th chapter Dhyana yoga 8th verse Jnana Vijnaana Truptaatmaa Kootastho vijitendriyaha Yukta ityuchyate yogi sama-losh-taashma-kaanchanaha 'The one who is fulfilled with the awakening of consciousness and intelligence, who remains firmly established by overcoming the patterns, who is intense and who views with impartiality whether it is a lump of mud, a stone or gold, is said to be united. means achieved the ultimate'. Now Bhagawan is straight landing on the root patterns of the mind. Understand, let me repeat the sacred secrets in this verse..'One who is fulfilled with the awakening of conscious and intelligence, who remains firmly established by overcoming all the patterns, who is intense and who views with impartiality whether it is lump of mud, a stone or gold'. Bhagawan is hitting at the root of ignorance. Please understand, What is really taking us away from being centered on contentment? What is it that takes your contentment away? The idea of MONEY! You feel somebody has more than you. So only when you have more and more, you will be able to do what you want. Only that leads to contentment. That is the idea of money. What is idea of money? Who makes gold valuable? Who makes dollar currency valuable? Again, it is the law established. Please understand, it is not always greed, you can say, may be Gold, people have started becoming greedy because of that color and shining and all that. What about currency? Why people become greedy? Because of the law established. The fear created. The commonly accepted - Please understand, commonly accepted mutual ideas, Mutual understandings. In the beginning, when everybody wants gold, the king would have made a rule - This will be valued, because less available, more needed, then the loss evolved, the value, weight, sharing, giving, taking, holding. Then when the stealing has started, laws to punish the people who steel, everything has started evolving. Even now, what keeps the dollar's value? If you are not ready to do your trades on dollar, there is every possibility you will be attacked later on. Please understand, How the value of the currencies are added or reduced? How much is needed in the world? I have to talk, revealing the deeper secrets of the human mind, How the human mind functions, Who makes you believe you having the gold or having money currency in your bank balance is a security for you? The laws created. Why those laws stand alive? The Fear created. How the whole fear and the law is sustained? Again, based on the demand and supply. Why should law make Gold as an important thing? Because less supply more demand. Why the stones don't have value but the diamonds have value? Because less supply more demand. And I tell you, the diamond industries -- they try to keep the supply less, to keep the value high. If they open their whole market, what ever is available to the market, it will be less than stone. The value will be less than stone! What is the difference between a stone and diamond? Only one difference - Less supply more demand. Otherwise, there are more shining stones than diamond. It is not just shining makes it valuable. It is the collective unconscious decisions which were made and continuously being maintained. If you just remove few people, who are maintaining these collective unconscious understandings from the top, the whole thing will collapse, tumble down! In the world, there is a constant fight. How I say - The people who maintain the collective unconscious understandings, as the social system, If those few pins are removed, the whole system will collapse. Same way, the communists say the few spiritual leaders who maintain, the collective myth of enlightenment, if they are removed, the whole system will tumble down. I look at their system as a myth.

Master Heat And Cold | Nithyananda Satsang | 04 Sep 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 4 2012 IN KODAIKANAL, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 7, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) gives us a deep technique for establishing our supremacy of self. Whether we are disturbed by external situations or internal emotions, they can only distract us if we agree to be distracted. When we sit in meditation with awareness and examine the source of the disturbance: how it feels, how it affects us, what is actually happening in our attention, we separate our spiritual consciousness from the experience and it no longer influences us. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- I welcome you all with my love and blessings. Today, Nirahar Samyama third level is starting. First day! I am also going to do Nirahar Samyama with you guys. I am continuing all my activities and routine. So this batch of Nirahar Samyama, 3rd level, next 11 days I will also be part of you guys. So 'The Samyama', 15th day successfully! In Bhagavad Gita, 6th chapter - Dhyana Yoga, 7th verse: Jitatmana prashantasya, paramatma samahitaha l Sheetoshna sukh dukheshu, tatha mana apamanayoho ll Translation: The one who has conquered the self, who has attained tranquility, the supreme is already reached, such a person remains in this state in happiness or distress, heat or cold, honor or dishonor. I will give you the new translation also: The one who has subdued his self, self made of patterns and is firmly established in the supreme state, remains centered whether in cold or warm atmosphere, whether he is pleasant or unpleasant situation whether he receives respect or is dishonored. Understand Bhagavan is giving powerful technique. He is using beautiful word, sheetoshna samdukheshu, sheeta, ushna -warm or cold, attacks you from outside skin. Sukha, dukkha atttacks you from inside the skin. Understand when you are feeling warm or cold, just sit and see what is happening outside your skin all over the body. Without branding, just see what is going on, how I feel. Don't name it as a cold or warm; pain or suffering. Just look. Something is going on; let me see what happens; how that feeling touches my skin ; after that how the skin is processing that information; and how I am getting agitated or irritated for no reason; how I am responding to it; why should I get agitated or irritated? Let's see how that nature responds to it. Sit with deep patience. All you guys are now in Kodaikanal. You don't need to go in search of a place. Sit today in the cold and see what happens in your skin. In one day, you will master cold. Cold will not affect you anymore. Same way heat, do Pancha Tapas, make a fire circle. It is very easy. Your height should be the diameter of the circle. That is the law. Make the fire circle. You will slowly start feeling the heat and it will increase within half an hour. Then just see what is going on in your skin. In two days you will master. Wow, both will not be painful. Then come to the next level of experiment. When you are feeling unpleasant just see. Unpleasantness is nothing but cold or warm which is working from inside the skin. If you look near the chest area it starts from inside the skin, the skin is being attacked. Warm and cold, heat and cold attacks you from outside the skin, unpleasantness and pleasantness attacks you from inside the skin. Sit with that. You don't need to find the situation. Already you have enough unpleasantness! Just sit with that unpleasantness. How it is attacking you from inside skin? What exactly you are feeling without looking, just see. In two days you will realize there is no such thing as unpleasantness other than your own decision to be in unpleasantness. Same way pleasantness, when you are in joy, happy, just sit and watch, what is this, what is this pleasantness, why it feels so expanded inside? Feel from your skin, inside the skin. You will master that state also. So pleasant or unpleasant attacks you from inside the skin; heat or cold attacks you from outside skin. But both heat or cold; pleasantness or unpleasantness; all 4 has no life independently from your will. Understanding this is being centered on the Supreme state. Please understand, your will gets contaminated when it connects itself with these 4. Fortunately these 4 have no independent existence if your will does not support it. Man who has realized it by experimenting with it is established in Supreme state. He is called Paramatma Samahita - equivalent to the Supreme consciousness. Such a simple, straightforward thing, I tell you! Just try today.

Raise Yourself by Yourself | Nithyananda Satsang | 29 Aug 2012

In 29th August 2012 Morning talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 5, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) decodes his favourite verse. This one verse stands alone as the crown of Sri Krishna's teachings. The sacred secret of this verse is that we alone have the sovereign power to raise ourselves to enlightenment or to hold ourselves back from spiritual evolution. Going forward even during moments of doubt and depression is atma bhakti: devotion to our higher intelligence. We become our own guiding light, building our lives on spontaneous inspiration. Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. Master, Mind & Mystic Phenomena | Nithyananda Satsang | 24 Aug 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON AUGUST 24 2012 IN KODAIKANAL, INDIA In today's morning satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) answers questions. The first question asks about explanation of a mysterious spiritual event, when a cobra was observed in a temple performing archana (worship offering) to the Shivalinga. The phenomenon was observed by hundreds and clear photos were taken, for us to view during the satsang. Paramahamsa reminds us that at times high spiritual beings such as sages or saints may take an animal body for a time. This was clearly such an occasion. The second question concerns how to attract the right people to us. Paramahamsa replies that there is no need to do special practices for this: our desire itself has enough strength to magnetize what we wish for and bring it to us. Another devotee asks how she can convince her child to follow Swamiji. Paramahamsa tells us that as parents, we have the responsibility to make sure the child knows about him and has opportunity to follow. The decision to follow springs from the free will of the child. We cannot force the choice. Paramahamsa's final comments are concerned with yoga and exercise. He enjoins us to practice yoga daily, at least one session in the morning. When the body gains yogic strength it automatically creates mental peace. We experience inner serenity and liberate ourselves from conflict. Three Steps To Enlightenment | Nithyananda Satsang | 19 Aug 20120:30:12

Three Steps To Enlightenment | Nithyananda Satsang | 19 Aug 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON AUGUST 19 2012 IN MADURAI, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 5, verses 27-28, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) unveils the spiritual technology for total living enlightenment. The plan is three-pronged, embracing lifestyle, technique and experience. The lifestyle gives us freedom from anger and desire and establishes the foundation for techniques to succeed. Once techniques are undertaken in a climate of compassion, they generate divine experiences. These in turn create spontaneous evolution within us, producing extraordinary powers. We become jeevan muktas -- super-conscious light beings. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Bhagavad Gita-5th Chapter -- Sanyasa Yoga -- 27 & 28th Verses SparshaanKrutvaa Bahir -- baahyaam Cakshush -- Chaivaantare bhruvo l Praana -- panou samou krutvaa Naasaabh -- yantra -- chaarinou ll Yateendriya -- mano buddhihir munir moksha paraayanaha l Vigatecchaa --bhaya krodho yas sadaa mukta eva saha ll Beautiful, both the verses! SparshaanKrutvaa Bahir -- baahyaam Cakshush -- Chaivaantare bhruvo l Praana -- panou samou krutvaa Naasaabh -- yantra -- chaarinou ll Yateendriya -- mano buddhihir munir moksha paraayanaha l Vigatecchaa --bhaya krodo yas sadaa mukta eva saha ll Both verses together you need to understand. Let me give you the translation. The one who has made the sense objects remain outside, by retaining the sight between the eyebrows being in deep meditation; by balancing the life breath that moves inward and outward through the nostrils; by subduing the senses, the thoughts and the intelligence; having removed desire, fear and anger; being intent upon loosening the bonds, remains always relaxed and free. Understand this few sacred secrets: First, Bhagavan starts with the life style. The first line he says is: The one who has made the sense objects remain outside, by retaining the sight between the eyebrows. The first part: One who has made the sense objects remain outside - This teaches you enlightened life style. The second statement: Retaining the sight between the eye brows - This is the technique. Please understand, enlightened life style prepares you for the extraordinary experiences; techniques gives you extraordinary experiences; Enlightenment, Realization, Samyama gives you extraordinary powers. See the three classifications clearly: Enlightened life style is more life solution. That prepares the ground, root. Then comes technique, which gives you extraordinary experiences. Then comes Realization -- Anubhava or Anubhooti, which gives extraordinary powers. If you see Gnanasambandar's life, Gnanasambandar is one of the great incarnation. He is considered to be the incarnation of Subramanya, Skanda. Because Gnanasambandar had Parvati's breast milk, the enlightening milk, he is considered as the incarnation of subramanya in the Shaiva Siddhanta Tradition. One of the great saints! If you see his life, the experience of Devi appearing and giving enlightening milk to him, leads to the Samyama -- Realization and Expression of extraordinary powers. In his life, the life solutions did not play much role because from the very young age, he had the extraordinary experiences and powers. If you understand these three classifications, many of your confusions related to spirituality will disappear. Many times, people try to think one is enough or one is higher than the other. Please understand, if you are matured, even one is not necessary. In these three, nothing is necessary. Ashtavakra, the moment the day he was born, he neither had experience, nor had any powers, lived Enlightenment! Sri Ramakrishna had all the three. Life solutions, means Enlightened life style and then the extraordinary experiences and Samyama the power, Realization. In Gnanasambandar's life, you will see two things. As a three year old child, he did not study any Shastras. He did not start going to school. He did not learn the life style of enlightenment. He did not practice anything. Straight Devi appeared and gave the enlightening milk. And that experience has led to the Samyama --Realization and he started expressing extraordinary powers. Neither one is higher than the other nor one is lower than the other. For ordinary people, all the three are required. Don't try to have just one, not the other. If you have only technique, you may have extraordinary powers, but you may not have enlightened life style, the life style of compassion, love; the nervous system to radiate the joy. You may be missing that!

Redefine Yourself to Rejoice Yourself | Nithyananda Satsang | 14 Aug 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON AUGUST 14 2012 IN BIDADI, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 5, verse 24, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) continues his discussion on the nature of spiritual happiness. When we exist in an unaware state, some part of our being becomes dominant; for example, some people are focused on physical activities, some on mental pursuits, and so on. Our perception of happiness derives from how we perceive ourselves -- as a strong body, sharp mind or devoted spirit. When we raise ourselves to understand that we are beyond all these identities, then we find the source of spontaneous inner joy. TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON 12 August 2012 IN KATHMANDU NEPAL In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 5, verse 24, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) reminds us that inner joy under all circumstances is a necessity. We usually look at happiness as something we gain from outside ourselves, and something rare that we are lucky to find. Paramahamsa corrects this delusion. Bliss does not depend on anything external; and it is not a luxury, rather a basic need for survival. It is part of our transformation to establish a well of joy within ourselves. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 5, Verse 19, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) explains the source of extraordinary powers. When we establish ourselves in the Supreme consciousness, in the state of living enlightenment, we can surpass the laws of nature. This is not actually miraculous, it is simply fact. If we embody the divine spirit, we acquire divine abilities. Our lives become a reflection of God. Website and Social Media: http://www.nithyananda.org http://www.nithyananda.tv http://www.innerawakening.org https://twitter.com/SriNithyananda https://www.facebook.com/ParamahamsaNithyananda TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Bhagavad Gita -- 5th Chapter -- Sanyasa Yoga -- 19th Verse July 25, 2012 Ihaiva tair -- jitaha SargoYeshaam saamye sthitam manaha I Nirdosham hi samam brahmaTasmaad -- brahmani te sthitaaha II The translation: Here, ihaiva, in this world itself, the nature is surpassed by them whose intelligence remains impartial for the Supreme Being that is flawless in the same in all. Therefore, they remain established in the supreme. Oh God! Krishna is too much. What he says you know: If you are established in the enlightenment space, in the intelligence, even now all the rules and laws of the nature is changed. If you are established in the supreme consciousness, all the laws of the nature is surpassed. And I tell you, wherever you surpass the laws of the nature that is what others claim as miracle. But for you it is "Happening". "The Happening", which is "The Happening" for unconsciousness fellow is crime for society. Which is "The Happening" for the conscious fellow, it is being part of the nature, flow of the society, which is "The Happening" for the super-conscious person, is miracle for society. Understand, which is "The Happening" for an unconscious fellow is a crime for society. An unconscious fellow does not plan and do the murder. Just yesterday, see whenever I come to Tiruvannamalai, I have one habit. This local villagers, 4~5 fellows are there, who will give me report. What is going on, that village talk, who ran away with whom, who is sitting with whom, who is hanging around with whom, who is killed by whom, whose house is sold by whom, whose house is bought by whom. I don't have time to see the news, CNN, IBN or the International things, but I will have 2 ~ 3 of these villagers. One of my informer is Mr.Krishnamurthy. "Swamiji, do you know few days before there was a murder in Tiruvannamalai?" I asked "What happened, why, who?" He gives me thoroughly who is the person who planned the conspiracy, who is the person who went and killed. I said "You are giving so much information, are you connected to Police Department?" He says "No Swamiji. Even Police Department does not know this much". I asked him "Why did they kill that guy?" He said "Swamiji, these fellows have done some other murder earlier. This person who got killed now is the eye-witness. If he goes to the court and gives eye-witness, they all will be convicted". I said "What an unconsciousness!" See, to escape from one murder conviction, they killed other person. Now it is going to be double murder. Two murders! So the person who has done both murders, is not conscious person. He is unconscious. He does not even understand the ripple effect of the whole thing. So, just "The Happening" for the unconscious person is crime for society. If you ask that guy who planned and did the murder "why did you do it?", he will only scratch his head and say "Oh, I thought if this fellow is alive, he will come to the court and give eye-witness. That may lead to conviction". Okay that is true. But now, "what have you done? You have done one more murder. So naturally it is going to be now conviction for double murders, two murders!" An unconscious person does not think through. So whatever is the flow of life for him, is crime for society. For a conscious person, whatever is flow of his life, like he wakes up, morning he goes to the job, works in his office, goes for lunch, comes back, again works in his office, comes back to sleep, whatever is his course of life, "The Happening", it is part of society, the flow of society. If you ask him "Why are you doing this?" He says "That is the way life is!"

Good and Evil is a Huge Collective Myth | Nithyananda Satsang | 24 Jul 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON JULY 24 2012 IN Thiruvannamalai, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. The Gita was imparted by the enlightened Hindu incarnation Sri Krishna to the warrior-prince Arjuna over 5000 years ago. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 5, Verse 18, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) expands our perceptions of good and evil. All of us have preferences in life; we like some things and we dislike others. We judge what we enjoy as "good" and we label what displeases us as "evil". This is a myth: nothing is intrinsically "good" or "evil". Do you feel life is useless | Nithyananda Satsang | 23 Jul 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON JULY 23 2012 IN MADURAI, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 5, Verse 17, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) discusses the experience of liberation from our attachments. The objects and habits we cling to serve a purpose for us; we find them useful in some way. Once we evolve beyond our need for them, our addiction to them drops away. The more of life we find useless, the greater our freedom. When we have no use for anything we can make all our choices without the bondage of desire. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Bhagavad Gita, 5th Chapter -- Sanyasa Yoga, 17th Verse Tad-buddhayas --tad-aatmaanaha tan-nishtahas-tat-paraayanaaha l Gacchanthya-purnaavruttim jnaana-nirdhoota-kalmshaaha ll Beautiful verse! I will do the live translation. Tad-buddhayas --tad-aatmaanaha tan-nishtahas-tat-paraayanaaha l Gacchanthya-purnaavruttim jnaana-nirdhoota-kalmshaaha ll Tad-buddhayas: Who are established in the intelligence! See, establishing yourself on intelligence! One of the biggest problem human beings face -- They again and again tell you "I understand what is right and what is wrong. But I forget and do my own things". This is the one statement I hear from everybody every day. "I understand what is right, what is wrong. But when it comes to action, I do my own things as per the old pattern". We need to understand, you are not born with the patterns with which you are working. When you are not born with them, you can change them. Please understand, when you are not born with certain pattern, it means it is created in you. Anything created can be changed. Now you can destroy the old one and create the new pattern. But constantly, for years and years and years, you go on cribbing "No. I know what is right, what is wrong. But I cannot do, I cannot look, I cannot see, I cannot change". Tad-buddhayas means established in buddhi. Means knowing clearly, anything I created I can destroy and recreate the new one. I have seen two types of people. People who create the cribbing pattern "Oh. I know what is right or wrong. But when I act, I act the way my patterns are". There is other group who thinks "Let me try little, little". This group which cribs is in the level of cribbing even for next two years. What two years, even for twenty years they will not be doing anything other than cribbing! But this group which tries comes out of the old pattern, may be in 2 or 3 months, because every time you think "I cannot, I cannot, I cannot" you are giving strength to your ignorance. Every time you think "I can, I can, I can" you are giving strength to your buddhi. Every time you think "It's Okay. What is the need for transformation, with so much of struggle?" you give strength to your Tamas. Giving strength to your intelligence, Tad-buddhayas -- establishing yourself in intelligence means, every step trying to change you one inch; trying to transform you just one inch extra; inch by inch trying to transform you. Tad-buddhayas --tad-aatmaanas tan-nishtahas-tat-paraayanaaha: Establishing yourself in intelligence tad-aatmaanas : Second word: Establishing yourself in the truth that you are Atman, the soul, consciousness. I tell you, the moment you remember you are consciousness, the moment you remember you are the atman, you are the pure soul, millions and millions of patterns becomes useless for you. I tell you, if you want to cross any pattern, it should become useless to you. You will never be able to cross by fighting. No! I tell you, you can never quit smoking by fighting with that pattern. You can never quit drinking by fighting with that pattern. You may be drinking to escape from something. You may be smoking to prove yourself as something or somebody; may be smoking makes you feel good about you. May be drinking makes you forget something about you. Only when the utility disappears, addiction can disappear. Without alcohol if you are able to divert yourself from your sufferings, just by meditation or some other activity, then alcohol may be useless in your life. Only when it becomes useless, you will be able to come out of that pattern. Same way smoking, without smoking, if you are able to give the same feeling towards yourself that you are something which smoking gives, then smoking becomes useless to you. Only when things become useless to you, you can walk out of those patterns. When you remember you are the atman, soul, there are millions of patterns in your life becomes useless, just useless! You do not need them anymore. I should tell you from my experience.

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON JULY 22 2012 IN MADURAI, INDIA In today's morning satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) replies to a question on Bhagavad Gita. The verse in question advises intense action without clinging to reward. The questioner wants to understand how to apply this verse to his life. Paramahamsa responds that the common factor for all our actions should be the totality of our commitment. Whether business, relationship or public service, when we give complete attention to each task, we perform for the sake of the task and not for the sake of the outcome. That is the correct application of this verse. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- I welcome you all with my love and respects. Today the graduation day of July Inner Awakening. I am looking back, we completed 11 Inner Awakenings successfully. This is the 11th one and first time out of Bidadi. Despite of all the harassments, despite of all the harassments, problems, successfully we have completed the 11th Inner Awakening. Very smoothly, successfully and strongly spiritually successfully and such an intense work on every person / individual. This Inner Awakening shows the power of spiritual strength. Actually I was working on developing and further sharpening and making the Inner Awakening a strong experience to the core. We are very successfully this time, adding more and more stronger, deeper truths. More homas, pujas, everything we have increased. The number of pujas, the number of the rituals, and the number of meditations, number of process, number of akashic readings, everything only got added in this IA and every participant had their question answered at least one question in akashic reading. Great! Really wonderful! I can't believe 11 Inner Awakenings are over. Feels like just the other day I started the first Inner Awakening very casually. Everything we start very casually only becomes too big in our sangha. Very casually I started this morning satsang. Very causally. When I said, I will start everyday morning satsang I will come regularly. Not a single fellow in my ashram believed. They believed even when I said I am enlightened. But they cannot believe that I will wake up every morning regularly and come in a time, because if you see before I started this satsang, my life style, routine and me don't get along well. Routine..no.. especially early morning sleep and if there is no program I will slowly get out of the bed, 10 o'clock only. I will wake up; I won't sleep; I will wake up by 4o'clock; after 4 I won't sleep. But I will just sit; just sit stretching the leg, I will not read; I will not see TV, nothing, no activity, just I will sit in Samadhi gazing at the wall. Nothing. Then slowly by 10 o'clock I will come out and walk upto the temple, do namaskar, then take bath, 1 o'clock I will eat, it was a chaos. There was no routine. But this morning satsang, when I announced nobody was ready to believe.. eh! Swamiji, following a routine, especially early morning coming out.. ? forget about it; it is all just 2 days, because they are also supposed to come. That is the way they were consoling themselves. It will all be over in 2 days, don't worry. The seniors were consoling the juniors, and juniors were consoling the seniors, they both were consoling each other. They never expected finally they will.. it will become our life style. Now, even devotees, whatever country/city they may be... if they don't attend the satsang, something is missing. No, I can see.. either they are in BIdadi, or they are in Kodaikanal, they are in Seattle, they are in St.Louis, they are in San Jose.. but they are in front of my camera. I see them only in different screen, that's all. The first question today is from Anand Singh, IA No.8 who is saying.. Dear Swamiji, in Bhagavad Gita chapter 5 verse 11 and Chapter 5 verse 12, the sacred secret is -- 'Constantly perform responsible intense action with no clinging to the reward of performance.' My question is -- I typically prioritise my business tasks by revenue; the higher the revenue, the higher the priority of the task. Is this verse 11 and 12 of chapter 5 applicable in the planning, execution, or both phases. Please clarify. Thank you, Swamiji. Please understand, you doing the business tasks by the revenue, higher the revenue, higher the priority is perfect. Nothing wrong. But when you start calculating your whole life just based on the money or the revenue, that is where something is seriously wrong. At some points you may have to perform many actions which does not bring direct revenue but which brings fulfillment. For example, all the actions in your relationship, family; you may have to get a toy and give it to your child, you may have to give a smile to your spouse, you may have to give a hug to your friend, don't lose those dimensions. Unfortunately if you put everything in the revenue sheet; toy is not a revenue, it is only an expense, a smile is not going to give you revenue,

Religious Conversion Is Conscious Violence - Q & A with Nithyananda | 17 Jul 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON JULY 17 2012 IN MADURAI, INDIA In today's morning satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) answers a question regarding religious conversion. Paramahamsa declares that conversion is actually intentional, applied violence. When a person encounters a spiritual truth through direct experience, his inner space evolves and undergoes transformation. At that point he may choose to adopt the formal religion associated with the truth he has discovered and embrace it as a devotional practice. This is the only legitimate form of conversion. All other avenues -- outside pressure or bribery (feeding the poor in order to convert them) - are simply a veil for aggression. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Today is, as per the solar calendar, new month in the Vedic tradition. So from today, the Indian villages, in Bengal, in UP, many of the Indian states, even in Madhya Pradesh, all the states which follow the solar calendar, all those states, this whole month they will drink Neem juice and cleaning the stomach. They will live on liquid diet and our Nirahar Samyama is matching with it. We have not planned. Automatically it has happened. All the states which follow the solar calendar - See Andhra and Karnataka follow Lunar calendar. Tamilnadu, Kerala, UP, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Gujarat -- all these states follow Solar calendar. So as per the Solar calendar, today is the new month beginning. In the whole 12 months, this one month they will be with the liquid diet. It is almost like a Ramzan. From this tradition only they started the Ramzan. One thing in Ramzan is they eat after sunset. Here they don't eat even after sunset. The whole month they live on liquid diet. Drinking Neem juice in the morning. They worship mother. The whole West Bengal, this is the only month they eat less sweet, because they don't eat. Indian villages these traditions were there. I don't know whether now in the cities it is not there . But still in the Indian villages these 5-6 states which follow the solar calendar they all do this observation. They go to the local deity of that village. So this is the offering given to the deities. Let's start the Satsang. Q: How does one stay faithful to his/her religion assuming they feel a deep connection and find truth in their religion, while currently maintaining a connection with the Guru. I will say the prayer in Hebrew before bed and then chant for the morning Pooja. Is there a contradiction here? Does the subtle sense of guilt only exist in the mind? A: Don't worry. There is no such thing as contradiction. Have everything. You will see automatically whatever needs to be dropped by itself. See, there should not be conversion. Conversion is a violence. I wanted to tell you all religious conversion is violence. Never ever anybody in my Sampradaya will practice religious conversion. No. No conversion! In transformation you never have pain. Suddenly you will see some of your old faiths and beliefs have completely left you due to your new discovery. Then it is not conversion. It is transformation. So after transformation, you may / may not choose legally to adopt that new religion you discovered. Please understand, it is a very subtle issue. This has to be handled with lot of sensitivity. Because I see so much of psychological violence, cultural invasion. As a Indian, born and brought-up in a village, I know the sufferings of religious conversion. Our poverty is being exploited. For the sake of bread and butter, people converting to different religion, I have seen. I have seen villages getting converted. I have seen the cultural invasion happening and the psychological violence being done. So I tell you as a sufferer, victim of religious conversion, with tremendous sensitivity and love and compassion for humanity, I make this as a law for Nithyananda Sampradaya and all my devotees and disciples -- "Thy shall not convert". We will only spread, radiate transformation. Understand I can tell you millions of stories, painful stories, where conversion is nothing to do with the religion. It is more to do with politics. It became a power-centric action not spiritual-centric action. I tell you a small example. I used to have a Shiva deity from the young age. May be from the age of 8~9 till 22. And after I realized my Avataric mission, I stopped doing morning Pooja. I used to worship with a small deity which I used to carry wherever I go. Now after I became the successor of Madurai Adheenam, I have to start my every day morning with the worship. So from the Madurai Adheenam I have been given a Shiva Linga , which is a hereditary, traditional. Even to shift from my old Shiva Linga to new Shiva Linga, it was such a big difficult.I tell you when you relate and live with a deity, that deity has become part of your inner space. So now if you see, I will keep both Shiva Lingas. I am not able to give-up that old one. For an incarnation after realizing incarnation-hood,
