The Qualities of Enlightened Beings | Bhagavad Gita Sanyasa Yoga (Chapter 5, Verse 20) | 19 Jul 2012

In this video (29 July 2012), Paramahamsa Nithyananda expands on the Karma Sanyasa Yoga chapter of the Bhagavad Gita where Bhagawan Sri Krishna describes one of the qualities of enlightened beings - Don’t rejoice by obtaining something with which you agree; Don’t shrink by getting something you don’t desire. Paramahamsa Nithyananda also underlines the importance of remembering the inspiring qualities of enlightened beings, otherwise a spiritual aspirant will reconfirm his distance from enlightenment and actually increase the distance. Keep Yourself Open for all possibilities

Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. The Gita was imparted by the enlightened Hindu incarnation Sri Krishna to the warrior-prince Arjuna over 5000 years ago. Amazingly, the spiritual wisdom and life solutions offered in the Gita are so universal and current that even today it is used as a personal transformation guide. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4, Verse 7, Paramahamsa Nithyananda gives us the definition of dharma. When we live in a state of openness to whatever may come, available to all possibilities, we are living in dharma. When we close off opportunities, either out of disbelief that they are possible, or out of desire to limit and control our lives, we turn away from dharmic living. Staying open to all possibilities allows us to expand our consciousness and flow with the energy of life. Discover Your Possibilities | Nithyananda Satsang | 20 Jun 2012

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON JUNE 20 2012 AT MADURAI ADHEENAM, INDIA Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. In this morning's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 5, Verse 5, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) encourages us to explore our possibilities. The two extremes of self-exploration are motionless meditation and intense action. Both lead us to the same state of spiritual freedom. Self-exploration through contemplation is jnana samyama, enlightenment through wisdom; self-exploration through action is karma samyama, enlightenment through industriousness. Exploring one's physical possibilities is yoga, bodily expression of the divine; emotional exploration leads to bhakti, the feeling connection with God; mental exploration results in siddhi, super-conscious ability; and spiritual exploration gives us mukti -- enlightenment. All these possibilities are available to each of us: we have only to choose our route. The destination is eternally the same. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Lets enter into today's satsang, 5th Chapter Sanyasa Yoga, 5th verse. yat-saankhyaihi praapyate staanam tadyo gairapi gamyate | ekam sankhyam cha yogam cha yah pashyati sa pashyati || Translation: only the one who perceives discriminative knowledge and intense action as one really perceives, for the state achieved through discriminative knowledge and intense action is one and the same. Bhagavan is showing the beautiful path of attaining the ultimate. Bhagavan is using two times the same word -- pashyati. yat-saankhyaihi praapyate staanam tadyo gairapi gamyate | ekam sankhyam cha yogam cha yah pashyati sa pashyati || yah pashyati sa pashyati -- that is the keyword in this whole verse. Who perceives the discriminative knowledge and intense action as one, only he perceives the truth, the ultimate. How can you perceive the knowledge, the atma vichara and karma yoga both as one and the same? How is it possible? Because human beings have innate hatred to work, intense action. If somehow they get tuned, the build a pattern of intense action, they develop innate hatred to just sitting and contemplating, exploring themselves. Unfortunately human beings are always single sided. They tend to lean to one extreme. Either you move to the contemplation, mental work or you move to intense action, physical work. Very rarely people perceive both as one and the same. I tell you, the keyword in this verse -- yah pashyati sa pashyati, I can give you one key to understand the discriminative knowledge and intense action is one and the same. The bridging point is exploring your possibility is samyama. Discovering your own possibilities is samyama. If you are discovering your possibilities by constantly contemplating, you are doing jnana samyama. If you are exploring all your possibilities through intense action, you are doing karma samyama. If you do samyama, either on jnana or karma, you will understand both are one and the same. I can tell you from my own experience how I was exploring my different possibilities and sharing with the world. You start looking at my life. From the age of 12, I can say, I started exploring jnana samyama through contemplation, exploring and discovering my various possibilities. Please understand, when you explore and discover your emotional possibilities, that ripes into bhakti. When you explore and discover your physical possibilities, you become yogi. When you explore and discover your mental possibilities, it becomes siddhis. When you explore and discover your conscious possibilities, it becomes enlightenment. From the age of 12, I was constantly exploring and discovering my various possibilities through contemplation. From the age of 22, I am exploring and discovering my various possibilities through intense action. If you see, when I started my public life, my activities, I was not even able to speak English fluently more than a few sentences. I started my public life in 2003. And at the most I could sit for 2-3 hours, and take some classes or do some healing. Then I will lie down. My body was not capable of continuously working. But I could see very clearly, when I started the exploring and discovering my capabilities, my possibilities, now so many extraordinary truths get downloaded into the system without even my effort and comes out. And hours and hours of intense action, work automatically is happening in my system without even me remembering the idea of tiredness. Forget about controlling or suppressing tiredness. The idea of tiredness! The possibilities... when you explore the possibilities and discover,

Where You Park Your Inner Space Matters0:36:21

Where You Park Your Inner Space Matters

In this video (17 May 2012), Paramahamsa Nithyananda expands on the 4th Chapter, 28th Verse of the Bhagavad Gita. Our actions that we do throughout the day do not matter in spirituality, but the space that we are in when we are idle, when our mind is by itself, that matters. Where you drive your car doesn't matter, but where it is parked matters. Paramahamsa Nithyananda urges us to park our inner space in these three spaces - Ajapa Japa (continuous chanting of the mantra given to us by the Guru), Unclutching (practicing the technique to be un-clutched from thoughts), & being established in feeling connection with the Divine. These three are the essence of His teachings. Watch, share and like the videos and Subscribe to our channel to be notified of the next upload. click http://bit.ly/20j90wr to subscribe. SURVIVE THE SPIRITUAL CULTURE-SHOCK0:37:07

SURVIVE THE SPIRITUAL CULTURE-SHOCK

Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. The Gita was imparted by the enlightened Hindu incarnation Sri Krishna to the warrior-prince Arjuna over 5000 years ago. Amazingly, the spiritual wisdom and life solutions offered in the Gita are so universal and current that even today it is used as a personal transformation guide. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4 Verse 23, Paramahamsa Nithyananda unveils the first step to deepening our awareness and open us to liberation. Our basic bio-memory is programmed to respond to life at the lowest level of fear and greed. We can purify this programming through repeated study of the great spiritual truths. Even when we fall short, we continue to soak ourselves in the teachings until they completely replace our bio-memory. Then our bodies become clean vehicles through which we can vibrate to a higher frequency. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Today in Bhagavad Gita 4th chapter Jnana Karma Sanyasa Yoga, 23rd verse - "gata-sangasya muktasya jnanaavasthita-chetasah | yajnaayaacharatah karma samagram pravileeyate ||" The duties that are performed as an act of adoration by the one in whom attachment has ceased, who is relaxed and whose reasoning faculty is settled in consciousness, completely dissolve, bear no binding result." Three technical terms you need to understand in this verse -- Gata sangasya muktasya -- unattached to the modes of the material nature. Means, see the material nature is to drive you with the fear or greed. It is very nature of the matter you are carrying, not just the matter of the nature which is driving you. Because you are carrying the body, you can be driven only by fear and greed. It is not just the driver's mistake, it is the vehicle's mistake also. Your vehicle, your body itself is a matter of driving force. Just two days before I was discussing with some of our Ashramites about this administration rules. That time, I was sharing an important insight which I wanted to share with all of you, now. By the nature of the bio memory, human beings need to be feeling certain level of fear and greed. If you don't even provide that much of material for them to be afraid of something and to be greedy of something, they will feel so empty inside, they will create unnecessarily phobias - height of fear, suddenly something will happen.. The unnecessary, reasonless, causeless phobias settle in your system if enough fear and greed is not supplied to your basic bio memory. By your nature, just because you are carrying a human body which is programmed with fear and greed, certain amount of fear and greed is required even to drive you. That becomes survival necessity. The administration is supposed to take care you don't create the fear and greed in everybody the same level. No. There are some people, a little bit of fear and greed is enough, they will be full, they will run, start driving. There are some people, may be more fear & greed is required for them to run. Some people who need more fear & greed, if you give them less fear & greed, they are in danger. Now, they will start creating unnecessary phobias. Please understand, many of your unnecessary phobias are created when you try to protect yourself from the basic amount of fear and greed which is required to run your life. I have seen many people, they try to protect themselves from the basic fear and greed which is needed to run their life, without purifying their bio memory. If you purify your bio memory by actions -- karma and evolve, then move out of fear and greed, nothing wrong - you will be liberated! But without making your bio memory mature, if you try to move out of fear and greed, I can give you this one example, people who leave everything and go for parivraajaka, yaatra, aghori life style, naagaas - without maturing your bio memory, if you leave everything and go, the small, small phobias -- phobia of cockroach, phobia of scorpion, phobia of snake -- small, small fears will take over your inner space, you will develop unneccesary phobias. I have seen there was a sadhu who had phobia about rivers. See, if you go near a river and have a fear that suddenly a flood may come and I may be flooded, that is ok. He will not even go on a bridge, well-built bridge where buses and trains can go. No. Forget about going on a bridge, he will not even see the river from the distance. How many phobias are there! God! When I read the list, I got the phobia of phobias! Phobias are pseudo fear, perverted fear. Like how pornography is perverted lust, phobias are perverted fears. Never pornography lust can be transformed because it is perverted, it is impossible to transform it nor the phobias can be cleared because it is perverted, impossible to clear, almost. Of course, only working on your non-mechanical parts of the brain and the inner space, you can be free of this. By the mode of the material nature, you are driven by fear and greed.

YOU ARE PURE COSMIC ENERGY0:42:27

YOU ARE PURE COSMIC ENERGY

Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. The Gita was imparted by the enlightened Hindu incarnation Sri Krishna to the warrior-prince Arjuna over 5000 years ago. Amazingly, the spiritual wisdom and life solutions offered in the Gita are so universal and current that even today it is used as a personal transformation guide. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4, Verse 24, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamji) presents the most repeated verse of the entire Gita. This verse is recited in in every Hindu monastery and by every saddhu before taking any food or water. The sacred secret hidden within it is that what we eat, drink and breathe is cosmos, the mouth we eat and breathe through is cosmos, how we digest the cosmos is also cosmos, and what we return from our inner cosmos into the outer cosmos is -- cosmos as well! We do not own any part of the cycle. Food or air, mouth, digestion, exhalation -- everything is simply cosmos. Paramahamsa informs us that meditation on this technique can lead to instant enlightenment. TRANSCRIPTIONS:- Bhagawad Gita, jnana karma sanyasa yoga chapter 4, verse 24 Before entering into the satsang, I wanted to share a unique experience happened just now in me. Usually I sit there, they show the aarti here, it just doesn't hit you. So personally, today I was sitting here, just in front of my eyes, doing the aarti. See when I am there, first thing I slip into superconcious zone..by the time aarti comes pada puja is already happening ....I cannot sit quietly more than 2 to 3 minutes, either I have to be in Samadhi, without mind or making people loose mind. Either, if I am in samadhi, you are saved, if I am not in Samadhi I drive you to Samadhi, thats my life. Naturally, morning means I will be sitting there, by the time aarti comes, I am already in Samadhi I do not feel it is directly done to me. I have never felt any pada puja done directly to me, by the time I come and sit, already I have so much respect for my padukas. Actually the moment I come and sit, first thing I bow down to my padukas. As I said once energized, they are independent of me, whether I live in the body or don't live in the body they can lead you to enlightenment. They are independent deity, but a common man cannot understand that I have so much respect and devotion for my padukas. They will say, "oh, some one crazy", they will try to find out what is this disorder called in psychology. So I have so much devotion for my padukas, the moment I see them I bow down, I fall into Samadhi, even if I miss two three minutes looking around, blessing the people or greeting the person who has come to do pada puja, that arunagiri yogeshwara's dhyan shloka is there, that's automatic bumper: Lalate tripundri shakit... that's it, I immediately know, memory of aurnagiri yogishwara is too much, I will fall into Samadhi, I will never feel aarti is done to me, pada puja is done to me, never have the idea it is being done to me, just like you are also sitting and doing I am also sitting and, " ok, it is happening". I know it is done to the intense presence of cosmos, the ultimate, but today just then I came and sat. I was looking around all these centers, missed aurnagiri yogishwara's dhyan shloka also, I have had this experience in those days when devotees called me to their houses and when I go there, they will do special pada puja and literally they will put camphor in my nose, and, " te-te-te-te....i will slowly try to move back, aien...I will not leave you", they will chase me and show me camphor. It is like just like that scene, that around the world atleast in 100s of places, people are worshipping with so much of sincerity, by the time, the second thought came, I had already slipped into Samadhi. There was no second thought. Just like that one idea came, "oh god". Because I could see the aarti today only I saw, how grand it looks in every temple when they show the huge maha aarti, because sitting there in the garbha mandir, I can see what is going on,,but today it is too close. Usually my paduka is there, I will put the responsibility on paduka, ok it is done to the paduka what is there for me..today my paduka is also missing..it is not there. In the vedic tradition Paduka is considered, padugai nachiar, means an independent devi, who can liberate people without even the consent of the master. It does not have any concern about right or wrong about the people, it doesn't judge. Padugai nachiar is presented as a devi, because only mother can liberate without judging. Anyhow, so paduka is also missing..i am giving exact insider's information, how I was feeling. Suddenly I felt huge responsibility, for a moment, then I slipped into Samadhi. After the aarti was over I was trying to settle, because I have to now talk, means share, somethings with you guys, satsang has to happen. I could see very clearly, that responsibility coming out as action.

Death Is Just Like a Change of Clothes | Bhagavad Gita by Nithyananda | 23 Sep 2011

Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. The Gita was imparted by the enlightened Hindu incarnation Sri Krishna to the warrior-prince Arjuna over 5000 years ago. Amazingly, the spiritual wisdom and life solutions offered in the Gita are so universal and current that it is even today used as a personal transformation guide in universities and management schools worldwide. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2, Verse 22, Paramahamsa Nithyananda continues to unveil the mystery of Death. Paramahamsa comments that our choices throughout life are based upon avoiding any encounter that might bring Death. We do this because we believe that Death is a traumatic event. With humor, Paramahamsa informs us that when we actually experience the process of Death, our living spirit passes through it so easily and quickly that we wonder why we were so afraid of it. To the Self, which exists in Immortality, one Death -- one change of bodies -- is literally as simple as changing our clothes. True Meaning of Love0:07:34

True Meaning of Love

From the works of Enlightened Master Paramahamsa Nithyananda. Nithyananda says that after spiritual experience comes Bhakti and social service. It is not the other way. Only a person who had the experience of every being, as part of the cosmic consciousness, only he can know and radiate love. Words and deeds, however trivial those may seem, of an Enlightened Master always do good to everyone. On the other hand the words and deeds, however great those may be, of an un-Enlightened person bring misery. For example, a simple instruction such as "Watch your Breath" from Buddha helped thousands to experience the Consciousness whereas the "Theory of Relativity" led to the invention of Atomic Bomb. Virtuous Circle

From the works of Enlightened Master Paramahamsa Nithyananda. Nithyananda says that Bhakti and Jnana and one and the same. Expressing the gratitude happening because of the spiritual experience is Bhakti. Having the spiritual experience and rejoicing, and staying in the experience is Jnana. Usually people are caught in a vicious circle where fear leads to greed and the greed in turn leading to more and more fear. Vicious circle results in low energy. A Virtuous Circle happens when Bliss due to spiritual experience leads to expression of it as Gratitude/Service and the Gratitude/Service in turn leading to Bliss. The Virtuous Circle leads to high energy and higher and higher levels of consciousness. Dharma is Virtuous Circle. Bhagavad Gita Discourse 9

From the works of Enlightened Master Paramahamsa Nithyananda. In this talk Nithyananda tells us about Krishna's is Ultimate secret. Once you know this secret, there is no difference between you and the Divine. Disciples often try to achieve the status of the Master instead of the state. State is different from status. The state is to be achieved, not the status. If you only see the status, you will always get caught in jealousy. The state of the Master is a source of inspiration for you. Bhagavad Gita Discourse 7

From works of Enlightened Master Paramahamsa Nithyananda. The Ancient Masters and Rishis created the Indian community system. We have started to disrespect this system. Yet our community system is alive. Other civilizations - Rome, Greece - all the cultures that came after India, did not survive. Of course, our community system has made mistakes; it followed the letters and missed the spirit. But just because it isn't perfect, it doesn't mean that it doesn't work. It is like a tumor in the body. You can't abandon or destroy the body just because it has one tumor. The Rishis founded the community system based on wisdom and intelligence. In other countries, it is based on material wealth and power.
